It doesn't feel that long ago that Friends aired its final episode on May 6, 2004. Which is probably why Jennifer Aniston, 54, was a little shocked to find out that one of the child actors from the show, Cole Sprouse, is now 30 years old.

“What!” Aniston said when an Access Hollywood interviewer pointed out that Cole and his twin brother, Dylan, are now 30. “Oh no, they're not. Wow, that's so bananas.”

Cole portrayed Ross Geller's son, Ben, on Friends, appearing in seven episodes of the hit sitcom from 2000 to 2002.

In addition to Friends, the Sprouse twins got one of their first major shared roles portraying Julian McGrath in the Adam Sandler flick Big Daddy. Throughout their childhood, the two often shared roles, playing the same part in movies like I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus and The Master of Disguise as well.

Sandler, 56, who was with Aniston in their shared film Murder Mystery 2, was equally taken aback. “That’s hilarious,” he said, laughing. “They’re cool.”

While stopping by The Drew Barrymore Show in 2021, Cole admitted that he had a bit of a crush on Aniston when he was on Friends. “Yeah, I did...It actually made it quite difficult to work in front of her I must admit,” he said. “I was a child, I would stammer a lot and I would forget my lines. I feel like I’d maintain my composure a bit more effectively now but it was quite difficult when I was a kid. And I was teased a little bit by the crew because they saw it and I would just forget and be looking at her, but then the whole world had a crush on Jennifer Aniston, so.”
