Don’t mind us, we’re here fangirling over the fact that our two favorite receptionists from the NBC sitcom, The Office, just had a mini-reunion in real life.
This week on Instagram, Jenna Fischer surprised fans with a fun snap taken with her former Office castmate, Ellie Kemper. In the comedy series, Fischer, 49, and Kemper, 42, (Pam and Erin, respectively) played office receptionists at the Dunder Mifflin branch in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
In the reunion photo, both actresses are smiling widely. And for a brief moment, fans can see a small (and we mean very small) glimpse into Fischer’s luxurious home.
The Blades of Glory alum wrote in the caption, “Look who came by to keep me and my broken shoulder company today! Thanks for the coffee and laughter @elliekemper you are the best! #receptionists.”
The Office fans were thrilled over the surprise IRL reunion. One happy fan shared a gif of Fischer’s character Pam sitting at her receptionist desk and saying, “OH YES! THANK YOU.”
Even the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt alum shared a touching comment about the reunion, which read: “That broken shoulder picked the wrong lady to mess with!!! Always love seeing you Jenna,” alongside red heart emojis.
However, this isn’t the only Office mini-reunion fans witnessed this week. Fischer also shared a preview pic to promote the newest episode of the Office Ladies podcast, which she hosts alongside her former co-star, Angela Kinsey. In the sneak peek photo, she is smiling and posing next to her Office castmate, Rainn Wilson (who played Dwight).
The caption read: “My friend @rainnwilson came on @officeladiespod to talk all about the season 7 finale Search Committee Part 2 and also about his new book Soul Boom! Both his interview and book are amazing..thoughtful, inspiring, funny…just like Rainn himself.”
