Attention, please: Chrissy Teigen got bangs.
This weekend, the 33-year-old model and social media extraordinaire stepped out for an event with a just-above-shoulder-length bob and—wait for it—blunt bangs straight out of 1983.
Her hairstylist, Laura Polko, posted a photo on Instagram and called it “Chrissy Teigen x Scarface,” confirming our suspicion that this particular look was inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer in the iconic Oliver Stone film. Teigen paired the new ’do with a smoky eye, heavily lined brown lip and lots of diamonds, natch.
At first we were convinced this was just a wig…but according to Polko’s Instagram, it was “not a themed party,” and we can’t think of another reason Teigen would don a wig. Besides, she looks so damn good it just can’t be fake, right?
One thing’s for sure: We’re more conflicted than ever about whether or not we should get bangs.
