Adele Revealed the TV Show She’s Been Obsessed with for ‘Over a Decade’

Well, now we know how Adele passes her time when she's not recording new albums or going on tour. In mid-November, the “Easy on Me” songstress began her residency in Vegas, titled Weekends with Adele, at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace. And while there, she opened up about the TV show she's been obsessed with for the past ten years.

Billboard's Katie Atkinson attended the singer's first show, on November 18, and she quoted a moment where Adele revealed one of her favorite series to binge: The Walking Dead.

“I’ve got a lot to tell you. It’s a bloody massive week for me, this week,” Adele told her audience that night. “It’s the Walking Dead finale on Sunday! Do we have any Walking Dead fans here?”

As sections of the audience screamed in agreement, Adele said, “Oh! I thought this was going to be a stiffer crowd than that. I’ve been obsessed with The Walking Dead for like over a decade, and on Sunday it’s all coming to an end.”

The “Hello” crooner then added other reasons why it had been an exciting week for her, saying, “And obviously it’s opening night, and it was the Grammys [nominations], and it’s the World Cup—f***ing hell, there’s a lot going on!”

That same week, Adele received 7 Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year for 30, Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Easy on Me,” and even more.

The 11th season of The Walking Dead wrapped on November 20, with 24 episodes making up the final season.

Adele's obsession first aired in October 2010 on AMC, and by its end, the series had run for 11 seasons and 177 episodes. Throughout its course, The Walking Dead received two Primetime Emmy Awards, two AFI awards, two Critics' Choice Awards and more.
