Kate Middleton Wows at 2023 BAFTAs in Asymmetrical Dress and Opera Gloves

Kate Middleton is the queen of taking a past look and making it seem totally new, and she used this trick yet again on the 2023 BAFTAs red carpet.

The Princess of Wales showed up to the event in a white Alexander McQueen gown that she previously wore to the ceremony back in 2019. However, the royal gave the asymmetrical piece a bit of a facelift.

While the design used to feature a floral shoulder, it appears that Princess Catherine had it replaced with one that tied at the top. She then made a stylistic statement by adding a pair of black opera gloves courtesy of Cornelia James.

To match the gloves, the Princess of Wales carried a Jimmy Choo black velvet clutch. Then, if you take a close look at the bottom of the photo, you get a peek at her golden Felix 105 pumps from Aquazzura.

But, the pièce de résistance of the entire ensemble are those earrings, which, if you can believe it, actually came from Zara (and only cost $28, but they're currently sold out). These cascading flower earrings feature metal blooms around the earlobe, as well as a string of petals flowing down a chain. We'll be pining after these accessories for years to come.

In a display of coordination with his wife, the Prince of Wales sported a classic black tuxedo, featuring a shiny velvet blazer and a black bowtie.

The two were seen smiling at each other as they walked the red carpet, and a number of photos showed the pair laughing together as well.
