If you ever thought that back-to-school shopping season is one of the wildest times of the year—whether you've got a kid headed to kindergarten or college—you're not the only one. Why else do you think we have an entire hub dedicated to bringing you the best mini fridges and kids' clothing stores online? To take some of the pressure off, of course. Well, this year, we want to take it a step further and help you get through this stressful-yet-exciting time the best way we know how: by letting you in on the best back-to-school sales in 2023.

From clothes to appliances, you can stock up on must-haves for your kiddo, their dorm room and hey, even yourself, all while saving big. The Brooklinen sale is particularly enticing thanks to a 15 percent sitewide discount using coupon code SUMMER15. So bring on the bedding! But you better act fast because the sale is done on August 30. Meanwhile, Best Buy is overflowing with tech deals, including a JBL Flip6 waterproof speaker for as low as $90. We can keep going, but you'd rather get to shopping, right?

We won't hold you up. Here are the eight of the best back-to-school sales happening now.

16 Adult Backpacks That Are Every Bit as Stylish as Your Favorite Tote

1. Brooklinen

Pop quiz: When is the best time to upgrade your bed and bath linens? If you answered now, you get an A+ because, through August 30, you can save 15 percent on all of Brooklinen's high-quality and luxe options with coupon code SUMMER15.

If we were you, we would start scrolling through the sale ASAP because items are selling quickly. Specifically, this Luxe Sateen Hardcore sheet bundle (was from $363, now from $247), which comes with a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, four pillowcases and one duvet cover made of buttery-smooth cotton fabric to instantly upgrade any dorm bed. There's also a deal on the top-rated Classic Towel Move-In bundle (was from $267, now from $193), which is stacked (quite literally) with 100 percent Turkish cotton towels that reviewers confirm are super soft and absorbent.

2. Crocs

Crocs are universally beloved for one major reason: They're some of the most comfortable and incredibly long-lasting shoes you can own. You probably know that, though, if you've scrolled through TikTok lately. Anyway, through August 21, you can score up to 50 percent off *almost* everything from the brand, including rarely discounted styles.

Before you run off to snag the coveted Classic clogs (were $50, now from $37) in a color you've been eyeing, you should also know that PureWow readers went nuts for the Baya platform sandals (were $45, now $34) during Amazon's recent Prime Day. We're confident that it's because they have a two-strap design and a heightened outsole that's perfect for when you want a little bit of extra height without sacrificing comfort. And since this may be your only chance to snag both styles on sale until who knows when, you'll want to act fast before the virtual crowd beats you to it. P.S. You can read up on our favorite Crocs on sale now in this story.

3. Best Buy

While Best Buy's mega back-to-school sale is slated to run all the way through September 10, you'll want to get your tech shopping done (like today) because the newer flat screens and kitchen gadgets won't stay in stock. Especially this Samsung Frame TV for as low as $1,700 on sale (was from $2,000), which reportedly has crystal-clear 4K picture quality and an immersive sound experience to boot. And that's before we even get to the fact that it camouflages itself as a picture frame by displaying curated digital art images and/or your own family photos when it's not in use. In that case, you may just want to grab it for yourself and get your kiddo this TCL Class S4 Smart TV for as low as $230 on sale.

Even so, the biggest buy during the sale might be this Insignia mini fridge, marked down to $120 (was $150). Besides being a dorm room must-have, it's also highly rated for having moveable shelves, plenty of space and being easy to set up. And if your student plans to survive on protein shakes this semester, we'd suggest equipping them with this Nutribullet Pro 1000 personal blender (was $86, now $100), which has one speed that gets the job done and comes with 32- and 24-ounce cups so they can take their smoothie on-the-go.

Better hop, jump and skip to the sale then.

4. Macy's

To cut to the chase: Macy's is packed with deals on stuff college students are looking for. Specifically, you can save upwards of 70 percent on thousands of items for the home (or dorm)—mattresses, kitchen essentials *and* bed-in-a-bag sets, which start as low as $15. In case you have no idea what a bed-in-a-bag is, we'll clue you in: It's a six- to 14-piece bedding set that comes with everything you need to set your bed, from a comforter and bed skirt to flat and fitted sheetspillowcases and shams.

Got it? Now you're ready to shop, and we suggest you start by scooping up Oake's cotton comforter set from $43 (was from $145) since it's reversible and made of a cotton and lyocell blend that "feels like a marshmallow," says one buyer.

However, if you really want to get bang for your buck, you'll want to scroll through the top home deals while you're at it. Back-to-school essentials include the Instant Pot Omni Plus air fryer toaster oven (was $250, now $180), Arkwright Home Host and Home towel set (was $50, now $40) and more.

5. Samsung

On the topic of dorm shopping, Samsung's back-to-school offers are not to be missed since students (and teachers!) can snag up to 30 percent through the brand's Education Discount Program, which your student can easily sign up for now for free. Once they're in, they'll unlock all the special deals on phones, tablets, laptops and more.

Perhaps you're both in the market for a new phone. In that case, the up to $750 discount (with an eligible trade-in), plus a $150 student discount may entice you to buy matching Galaxy S23 Ultra phones. With more megapixels (up to 200MP, specifically), it could be a serious upgrade from your current phone. After all, it's designed to help you capture milestone memories (like their college send-off), take the best selfies and basically preserve all your photo-worthy moments in crisp detail. Everything you need to know is in this story.

Does your kid need a watch to encourage them to get to class on time? Thankfully, this super sleek Galaxy Watch6 is on sale for $323 for them (plus, you can get an up to $250 instant trade-in credit to save even more moolah). Of course, the watch does more than just tell time; it also tracks sleep cycles and workouts, and keeps them connected while they're on-the-go so they can take calls and send texts (to you, of course).

6. Calpak

High-quality backpacks and luggage that don't break down in the middle of the school year are hard to find. Lucky for you, Calpak's sale section has tons of options for up to 60 percent off. Just scroll through to find styles like the polyester Luka mini backpack (was $72, now from $61), which features pockets for days (even one just for your phone) and a luggage sleeve that will come in handy during travel.

Speaking of travel, the Compakt duffel bag (that is just about one of the most versatile styles you can own) is on sale from $45 (was from $56). "This bag folds up into a small pouch which makes it so easy to take everywhere. I’ve brought this bag with me on all of my trips and ended up using it to put the extra items I purchase," one buyer adds. "It’s lightweight yet sturdy. I’ve also easily used this for the beach, gym and weekend trips." Say less! We need it now, and the brand's chic padded laptop sleeve (was $38, now from $27) to go with it.

7. Amazon

Since there's no question whether hand sanitizer and transparent sticky notes are on your back-to-school shopping list, we have some good news for you. Those and a boatload of other essential items are on sale at Amazon right now, so prepare to get your shopping done in no time.

You can also browse through the retailer's massive daily deals section to snag big-ticket buys at a markdown. Not limited to a cordless Black + Decker dustbuster (was $60, now $50) that will make room-cleaning a breeze and an Amazon Echo Dot (was $50, now $35) with clearer vocals, deeper bass and vibrant sound quality to get them through finals season with their favorite music. And lest we forget this top-selling Beautural steamer (was $35, now from $28), which is compact and foldable, so they'll be able to steam out those wrinkles before big internship interviews. And hey, if you didn't already grab it during Prime Day, you should probably snag one for yourself, too.

8. Wayfair

Unsurprisingly, we saved the best for last, and trust, you'll want to get your card in hand because it really doesn't get better than Wayfair's massive sale section with a chock-full of deals on everything you can possibly think of for your home (or their dorm).

Want to upgrade your own sheets *and* snag some bedding for your favorite college student? There are so many sets on sale, it'll make your head spin (in the best way). But in our opinion, this Andover Mills Mirabal set (was $119, now from $27) is the best, since it comes with up to two pillowcases and a fitted and flat sheet. Most importantly, it's made of cooling polyester and microfiber material, and buyers say it has an addictively soft touch.

Other college kid must-haves? A sleek hamper for just $13 (complete with handles) to make laundry days as easy as can be, along with this uber plush faux fur beanbag chair (was $150, now $110) that will turn their dorm into the ultimate study sanctuary.

Whatever you end up buying, you'll save big, so go get that A+ for shopping!
