Based on Charles Forsman's comics of the same name, the black comedy follows James, a 17-year-old self-proclaimed psychopath who kills animals as a hobby. When he decides to kill a human, he settles for Alyssa, a troubled classmate who wants to escape her awful home life. But as they embark on a road trip together, they start to bond, making it more difficult for him to carry out his initial plan.

10. Daria

The show may not have magical elements, but if you love Wednesday's deadpan humor, you'll enjoy watching the cynical and sarcastic Daria Morgendorffer.
