Introducing Apple TV's power couple

If you've ever wondered why Dichen Lachman's husband, Maximilian Osinski, looks so familiar, it may be a sign you're an Apple TV fan. His spouse has been making headlines with her incredible portrayal of Ms. Casey on Severance, but Osinski is also making waves with his role as pro footballer Zava on Ted Lasso.

While speaking with GQ about landing the part, he said, “When I got the breakdown for the role, they described him as a mix between [former soccer players] Zlatan Ibrahimović and Eric Cantona. I remember my wife started crying a little bit too when I found out I got it.”

Lachman and Osinski have been happily married for over a decade, and you may have spotted the couple at a few red carpet events together. But now, I'm curious to learn a bit more about Osinski's life and career. For instance, how did the actor meet his wife? Do they have any children? Maybe you are too. Keep reading for all the details.

1. Who Is Dichen Lachman's Husband, Maximilian Osinski?

Maximilian Osinski, 40, is a Polish actor who is best known for his roles as Agent Davis on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Zava on Ted Lasso. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts, and he has since landed 26 acting credits, according to IMDb. Among them are The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Chelsea DiBlasi: People Pleaser and Blackout.

In addition, Osinski is a writer and producer. He wrote and produced episodes for the miniseries Hollywood Hitmen, where he also starred as Max.

2. How Did Lachman and Osinski Meet?

The happy couple first crossed paths in California in 2008, when Lachman moved to the Golden State for her leading role in the show Dollhouse. It's unclear when their romance began, and neither has opened up about how they first met, but I do know that the pair dated for several years before Osinski popped the question in July 2014.

At the time, E! News confirmed that wedding plans were underway and that Lachman's former on-screen love interest, Enver Gjokaj, would be included in her wedding party.

3. When Did Lachman and Osinski Get Married?

The actors tied the knot in January 2015, but neither have shared details about their nuptials. It's likely the pair held a private ceremony for family and close friends, but E! News did report that it was a star-studded affair. Agents of S. H.I.E.L.D. executive producer Maurissa Tanchareon and actors Caitlin Stasey,  Jessy Schram, Rachael Taylor and Camille DePazzis all served as bridesmaids, according to the outlet.

4. Have Dichen Lachman and Her Husband Ever Worked Together?

They sure have. Both actors appeared in season two of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., where Osinski played Agent Davis and his wife played the villain, Jiaying. Additionally, both currently star in massively popular Apple TV+ shows, and they've already been dubbed the "unofficial first family of Apple" by Vanity Fair.

He told the publication, "It's pretty crazy. When I got Ted Lasso, we knew what it was. When she got Severance, we knew that the pedigree of people involved was amazing, but you never know what'll hit. And I knew there was something special when I was filming and cast members on my show were talking about Severance, and they didn't know she was my wife. We’d bump into each other at some of these awards events and everyone’s like, 'Oh my god, Severance, and I’m like, 'Hey, we work together, don’t forget about me!' It’s so nice to see people enjoying her work. Thank you, Apple!"

Lachman has also spoken out about getting to work at Apple TV+ with her husband. She told The Standard, “It is wild and such a crazy coincidence that we both ended up on Apple shows that captured people's hearts.”

5. What Else Has the Couple Said About Each Other?

While chatting with The Standard earlier this month, Lachman briefly opened up about the couple's decision to live in London. Initially, they planned to stay for a few months in 2022, but Lachman fell in love with the culture.

She said, “The food, the architecture, the vibe, the public transport...I love getting on a double-decker bus and sitting on the top, at the front. I feel like I'm flying through the streets. Max laughs at me because I'm just obsessed with how voluptuous the flowers are in the springtime. It's like fairies polished all the grass in the middle of the night, ‘cause it just gleams.”

Although the pair tends to keep their personal lives private, they don't shy away from supporting each other publicly. When one of his wife's Severance episodes aired earlier this month, Osinski shared stills of the actress on Instagram and wrote, "Speechless, could NOT be prouder of my girl, my ace, my wife @dichenlachman. You ripped my heart out in #severance Ep.207. Congratulations to you and everyone involved on an amazing episode. #Gemma #misscasey #appletv #thatsmygirl."

6. Do They Have Children?

In May 2015, just a few months after they tied the knot, Lachman and Osinski welcomed their daughter, Mathilda. The proud parents typically keep their 9-year-old out of the spotlight, but Osinski has shared a few snaps and footage of the family spending quality time. In July 22, the trio enjoyed a summer vacation and Osinski shared a few highlights, writing, "Family time on the #amalficoast #Sorrento #boats & pink pineapple #trunks."
