Actress Yerin Ha recently spilled the tea on Bridgerton season four. The question is: Will Regé-Jean Page make a cameo in the new installment?

The 37-year-old actor played coy when asked if he’d reprise his role as Simon Basset (aka the Duke of Hastings) in Bridgerton season four.

“I’m very happy to support everyone who’s in the show,” Page told Entertainment Tonight. “Everyone's finding fantastic success but with the show and personal projects, I'm just super happy to see that.” Hey, he didn’t say no…

While his vague answer may disappoint some fans, it shouldn’t come as a huge surprise. Page previously addressed the possibility of returning and revealed that his character was always meant to depart after one season.

“It’s a one-season arc. It's going to have a beginning, middle, end—give us a year,” he told Variety in 2021. “It felt like a limited series. I get to come in, I get to contribute my bit and then the Bridgerton family rolls on.”

Page’s character, Simon Basset, was first introduced in Bridgerton season one, which focused on Daphne’s (Phoebe Dynevor) love story. Since each season is dedicated to one Bridgerton sibling, Page didn’t return for future seasons alongside Dynevor (who’s made small cameos).

The cast is currently filming Bridgerton season four, which will focus on Benedict’s (Luke Thompson) relationship with Sophie (Ha). Jury is still out on whether Page will make a surprise cameo.
