Ladies and gents, you are all cordially invited to one of the biggest TV weddings of the year—and you might want to bring some tissues.

This week, Netflix released a sneak peek of Jack (Martin Henderson) and Mel's (Alexandra Breckenridge) highly anticipated wedding in Virgin River season six, and guys, I'm already getting emotional. The teaser includes a montage of the couple's most romantic moments together, and in the voiceover, we hear Jack's beautiful proposal. He says, “From the moment I set eyes on you, I knew you were special. And as I’ve fallen deeper in love with you, that’s only grown stronger.”

The video shows flashbacks from season one, when the pair first met, then proceeds to highlight memorable moments from their relationship. Jack continues, “I want to spend the rest of my life making you the happiest woman in the world. What I'm asking is…will you marry me?”

In response, an emotional and teary-eyed Mel nods and smiles, and we see the pair embarking on some new adventures as they prepare for their wedding day. But the best part? When we get a glimpse of Jack trying on a tux and Mel donning a stunning embroidered wedding dress.

Per the official logline, this season promises to deliver "fresh twists and turns, escalating love triangles, delightful wedding drama, as well as uncovered secrets from Mel’s father’s past, which will transport us to the magic and mystique of Virgin River in the 1970s."

Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith also promises plenty of excitement and, of course, drama, with all the planning, parties, dress shopping and last-minute curveballs. He told Netflix's Tudum, “We’re trying to hit all the milestones of the pre-wedding planning, the bachelor and bachelorette parties, the rehearsal dinner. I’m so proud of how it turned out. It felt very Virgin River in its production—the ambition of it, and that we’re a small group of people that care about something so much: the fans. So we just busted our humps to get it done.”

Fortunately, we don't have to wait much longer to see the finished product. All episodes of Virgin River season 6 will be available to stream on Netflix on December 19, so mark your calendar.
