Netflix’s New Series ‘Sex/Life’ Is NSFW—But Ideal for Binge-Watching

If you thought Bridgerton was steamy, then just wait until you peek the teaser for this brand-new Netflix show.

The streaming service just dropped the first official trailer for Sex/Life, following a married woman who considers pursuing an old fling. Although it’s not something we’d recommend watching with your parents or kids, we predict that it’ll be a conversation starter when it premieres later this month. (The trailer alone is very spicy.)

Meet Billie (Sarah Shahi), a suburban mom who’s growing tired of her boring routine—and sex life—with her husband, Cooper (Mike Vogel). “I love my husband,” Billie says in the clip. “I can’t imagine my life without him. I’m just not sure that this is who I’m supposed to be.”

It doesn’t take long for Billie to start fantasizing about her former fling, Brad (Adam Demos), who left her feeling “desired.” However, there’s one small problem: “Sex is rarely just about sex,” the voiceover says.

“There was a time in my life when I felt…free,” Billie explains. “And then, one day, I’ve become this whole other person. I can’t help wondering, ‘Where did that other girl go?’”

The official synopsis reads, “A woman’s daring sexual past collides with her married-with-kids present when the bad-boy ex she can’t stop fantasizing about crashes back into her life.”

Other cast members include Margaret Odette (Sasha), Phoenix Reich (Hudson), Jonathan Sadowski (Devon), Li Jun Li (Francesca), Meghan Heffern (Caroline), Joyce Rivera (Olga), Amanda Nestico (Cooper), Lauren Collins (Ms. Brenda) and Hannah Galway (Emily).

Season one of Sex/Life will hit Netflix on June 25.
