Master of None season three will hit Netflix on Sunday, May 23. It will consist of five episodes, so arrange your streaming schedule accordingly.

2. What Is 'master Of None' About?

Master of None is loosely based on Aziz Ansari’s life story. The first two seasons focus on a struggling actor named Dev (Ansari), who’s on a mission to discover his true identity. The series follows Dev as he takes on several of life’s obstacles, including advancing technology and dating. Unlike previous installments, season three will focus on the relationship between Denise (Lena Waithe) and her partner, Alicia (Naomi Ackie).

According to the official Netflix description, Master of None season three “is a modern love story that intimately illustrates the ups and downs of marriage, struggles with fertility, and personal growth both together and apart. Fleeting romantic highs meet crushing personal losses while existential questions of love and living are raised.”

3. Is There A Trailer?

Absolutely. The clip features a montage of scenes, showing the good, the bad and the ugly sides of Denise’s relationship with Alicia. It also includes a voiceover by Denise, who says, “OK, hypothetical for you. Let’s say: We’re at a party. Maxwell’s playing. You don’t know me. I don’t know you. And I ask you out on a date. Would you say ‘yes’?”

4. Who's In The Cast?

Waithe and Ackie are the only two people who are credited as stars for Master of None season three. However, previous installments featured several cast members, like Ansari, Noël Wells (Rachel), Eric Wareheim (Arnold), Kelvin Yu (Brian) and Alessandra Mastronardi (Francesca). Oh, and how could we forget about Ansari’s real-life parents, Fatima and Shoukath, who played Dev’s mother and father?

Ansari co-created Master of None with Alan Yang (Tigertail). Not only did the actor write season three alongside Waithe, but he also directed all five episodes. (NBD.)
