1. Who Is Mark Ghanimé?

Ghanimé is a Canadian Lebanese actor who grew up in Montreal, Quebec. He showed little-to-no interest in the performing arts as a child—in fact, he thought he’d become a businessman or real estate agent. Everything changed when he received an opportunity to be a background actor in the 2004 movie Chasing Freedom, which ignited his passion for acting.

2. Does He Play Cameron In 'virgin River'?

That’s correct. Ghanimé portrays Dr. Cameron Hayek, who’s introduced in season 4 of Virgin River. In the new episodes, Cameron is hired by Doc (Tim Matheson) to work at the clinic. He slowly develops a crush on his new co-worker, Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge), who’s pregnant and dating Jack (Martin Henderson). To top it off, Cameron doesn’t approve of Mel’s relationship. And when he confronts her about it, it doesn’t go well.

He also starred in multiple holiday-themed TV movies, like Always and Forever Christmas, Twinkle All the Way and A Candy Cane Christmas. Aside from Virgin River, he’s best known for playing Major Sergio Balleseros on Helix, Don Carlos on Reign, Dr. Jamie Albagett on Emily Owens M.D. and Dev on The Bold Type.
