This Daniel Craig Thriller Is About to Top Netflix’s Most-Watched Movies List

If you’ve already made your way through Netflix’s list of most-watched movies, then we highly recommend you add this throwback flick to your streaming list.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo just hit the service earlier this month, and it’s only a matter of time before it claims a spot on Netflix’s top-rated section.

Why? First of all, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is entertaining. As much as we’d love to say that every Netflix option is binge-worthy, that’s not always the case. Second of all, the movie was extremely popular when it first hit theaters. Since it originally premiered in 2011, it might be time for a much-needed re-watch. And lastly, it stars Daniel Craig. Need we say more?

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is based on the namesake book by Stieg Larsson. The story follows a financial reporter named Mikael Blomkvist (Craig), who’s hired by Henrik Vanger (Christopher Plummer) to solve a 40-year-old murder case. As he digs for answers, Mikael crosses paths with Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara), an under-the-radar investigator who doesn’t trust anyone.

In addition to Craig, Plummer and Mara, the movie also stars Stellan Skarsgård, Steven Berkoff, Robin Wright, Yorick van Wageningen, Joely Richardson, Geraldine James, Goran Visnjic and Donald Sumpter.

You had us at Daniel Craig.
