Elizabeth Olsen's Net Worth Is Surprisingly Huge (Thanks, Marvel Fans)

Elizabeth Olsen may not have been a child star like her big sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, but she has certainly made a name for herself. After landing her breakthrough role in the independent drama, Martha Marcy May Marlene, she went on to gain worldwide recognition for her portrayal of Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel franchise. Then, after blowing critics away with her acting chops in Facebook's Sorry for Your Loss, she proceeded to break the Internet with her popular Disney+ miniseries, WandaVision (anyone else sad that it's already over?).

Still, as much as we've enjoyed seeing her as the famed Scarlet Witch, we're curious to know a bit more about her net worth and how she earned her fortune. For instance, much did she make from the Marvel films? And what about her other projects? Here's what we know about Elizabeth Olsen's net worth.

1. What Is Elizabeth Olsen's Net Worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Olsen is currently worth $11 million. She's also engaged to musician Robbie Arnett, whose net worth is reportedly $9 million. The couple got engaged in 2019, and it just so happens that Olsen's biggest film, Avengers: Endgame, hit theaters that same year.

2. How Much Did Olsen Earn From The Marvel Films?

Very little is known about Olsen's earnings from her Marvel films, but there have been estimates, based on the earnings of her co-stars. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robert Downey Jr., aka Iron Man, earned an estimated $75 million for Infinity War alone, all because he negotiated a unique deal where he received backend profits from the films. Meanwhile, other main stars, including Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans, earned between $15 and $20 million.

Since Scarlet Witch was only a supporting character in the Marvel films, it's very likely that Olsen's salary was a bit lower. Still, considering that the films grossed a pretty hefty sum (Avengers: Endgame alone grossed over $2 billion, FYI), we imagine that she got sizable paychecks that account for most of her fortune.

3. What About 'wandavision' And Her Other Projects?

Again, it's unknown exactly how much Olsen made per episode. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Olsen and her co-stars, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Renner, all negotiated deals that were separate from their movie contracts. It's possible that Oslen was able to negotiate a much higher salary, given that she's the star of the miniseries.

As for her other films and TV projects (fans may recall that she's starred in a number of films, like Silent House, Red Lights, Kill Your Darlings and Ingrid Goes West), her salary is currently unknown. But even so, we're willing to bet that they all contributed a great deal to her growing bank account.
