Parents Rejoice: A New Season of ‘Bluey’ Is Coming This Summer to Disney+

This is not a drill: Disney+ announced today that new episodes of the hit Australian-born kids show Bluey are set to arrive in July. (For real life!)

Count ‘em, there will be a whopping 10 episodes available to stream in the U.S. beginning Wednesday, July 12. And while some parents may lament, that’s nowhere near enough, we’re over the moon that we’ll soon see more wholesome and hilarious antics featuring Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chilli (aka mom icon).

The new batch of episodes will include a few new faces, too. Lin-Manuel Miranda will appear as a talking horse in an episode called, “Stories,” and Rose Byrne cameos as Chilli’s sister Brandy in “Onesies.” Based on the trailer, fans can also expect the usual cast of characters ranging from Muffin to Lucky’s dad and more.

For anyone not familiar with the series, the show follows the adventures of Bluey, a lovable, but inexhaustible Blue Heeler puppy who lives with her family, all the while showcasing the joyful simplicity of family life.

As for how to pass the time between now and July 12? We’d say you could re-binge seasons 1 through 3, which are currently available on Disney+, but we know you’re already doing that. So, maybe entertain the kiddos with a round of Keepy Uppy? Shadowlands? Featherwand?

T minus 27 days until the new batch of episodes hits.
