Few things are more satisfying than trimming down that extra long hair that's sprouting out of your arches—that is, until you get a little too zealous with the scissors and end up snipping off a wee too much. Which begs the question: Should we even be trimming them at all?
Sania Vucetaj, brow genius and founder of Sania’s Brow Bar in New York City says to go ahead, but to exercise some caution.
“When you cut them too short and choppy, the brows can look thinner, hang down and grow back coarse,” Vucetaj explains.
To prevent this from happening, she suggests brushing your brows upward first (using one of those little combs), and only trimming the tips (where they stick out of your natural arch) so the hairs layer over each other and lay down nicely. Voila! Full, neat and feathery results.
