During Prime Day, they were selling like hot cakes, so naturally I needed to see if they were actually worth my coins. Here’s my honest review on the viral under-eye masks (spoiler alert: our readers might be onto something.)
The brand recommends using the under-eye masks anytime you need a pick-me-up. I found myself using them once a day—regardless if it was morning, afternoon or night. I spent a few weeks documenting my results and seeing how much of a difference they made to my dark circles and puffiness.

The Grace Energizing Eye Masks promise to improve the appearance of dark circles, reduce puffiness and hydrate the under-eye. Whenever you apply them under your eyes, the goal is to refresh and brighten the area for the day.
These under-eye masks are a hit on TikTok with tons of creators showing off their impressive before and after results. They also have 15,000 5-star reviews on Amazon and even got the attention of Jessica Alba, who's shared the product on her Instagram a few times. As a beauty editor, I enjoy debunking anything that goes viral on TikTok, so here’s my honest review of the viral product.
The box comes with 24 sealed pairs of under-eye masks, which I can see lasting me a long time. (FYI: They also sell them in sets of six, 48 and 72 pairs, too.) Upon pulling a packet out of the box, the first thing I noticed was how aesthetically pleasing the packaging is. It’s a vibrant gold color that’s giving a super luxe vibe for half of the price.
Once I washed my face, it was simple to apply the masks on the under-eye (just below the lash line) and go about my business. I would say they’re a bit slippery—one even slipped back into the packet—so be gentle with them. The brand claims they’re “an energy drink for your eyes” and I agree. As soon as I applied them, they offered a cooling sensation that lasted longer than I expected. I often applied them in the morning and truly noticed a difference in my tired eyes.
The brand recommends wearing the under-eye masks for 15 to 20 minutes (though the site says you can wear them as long as you like). I found this time period works to really let the patches work their magic. During this time, I busied myself with other tasks. They’re so lightweight that I even forgot they were on my face a couple of times. Once the time is up, remove them and massage any remaining product under the eyes. No rinse needed.
Yes. The under-eye masks are non-irritating and gentle on my sensitive skin. I didn’t deal with any discomfort and/or drying. As mentioned before, they have a cooling sensation that depuffs my eyes and brightens the area. Many shoppers even recommend popping them in the fridge for a longer cooling time, making for such a nice self-care day at home. The nourishing formula has hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture and amino acids to boost hydration. You’ll also find sea moss and glycerin to smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
While they won’t drastically change the appearance of your under-eye area, I do still see a difference. I feel more energized (like the name suggests) and the area looks brighter than ever. I appreciate how they reduce my dark circles and maintain moisture. I also love how Grace & Stella offers a variety of pack options to choose from, and honestly, the price is pretty reasonable. Now, they don’t last all day, and they’re a bit slippery, but it’s still a great pick-me-up whenever I need it.
