You’ve always been known as an “old soul” and the “mom” of your friend group. But it’s not just because you're wiser than your peers and always carry Band-Aids in your purse. Although you technically fall into the millennial generation (you were born between 1981 and 1996), deep down you suspect that you’re really a boomer trapped in a younger person’s body. If this sounds like you, you are, in fact, a boomennial. Need further proof? Put on your reading glasses and take a peek at these signs you could be a boomennial.

25 Signs You’re a Geriatric Millennial

1. You’re not formally trained but you could basically be an appraiser on Antiques Roadshow at this point.

2. You sport Crocs because why on earth would you wear anything else?

3. Weekends are for errands and chores—not partying.

4. There’s nothing like a steaming hot cup of tea before bed (out of your favorite mug, of course).

5. You have very seriously considered couponing as a side-hustle.

6. The next episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit airs at 9 p.m. on Friday so you’ll obviously have to record it and watch it in the morning. (You have a strict 9:30 p.m. bedtime.)

8. You have told other people in a completely non-ironic way that things were different back when you were young.

11. Your idea of the perfect evening includes a House Hunters marathon followed by an early night.

12. It’s Sunday afternoon and you have an hour to yourself… do you read a book or take a nap? OR DO BOTH??

13. You know it’s uncool but you just can’t get on board with music festivals.

14. You subscribe to magazines (Food Network and Better Homes and Gardens, obviously).

15. When you call your friend and she doesn’t pick up, you leave a lengthy voicemail (you know, just in case she doesn’t see the missed call notification).

16. Your hobbies include cleaning, birdwatching and stamp collecting

17. You think that it would be really cool to learn how to cross-stitch.

18. Your back goes out more than you do.

19. Your favorite season is sweater season

20. Your favorite way to spend a rainy afternoon is whipping up a batch of baked goods. (Mmm, doesn't the house smell lovely?)

21. There is no greater social faux pas than showing up to a potluck with a measly bag of chips and some store-bought dip.

22. House slippers just make sense.

23. You own a lot of plants...and you like to talk to them. (What? Cristofern likes your singing voice.)

24. If your house was on fire, you would grab your family photo album, your birth certificate and your label maker.

25. You always have aspirin, Band-Aids and Werther’s Original candies in your purse.

26. Cottagecore isn’t a trend, it’s a lifestyle.

27. Your restaurant bill arrives and your immediately respond with, “So what’s the damage?”

28. You can’t wait to share this list with your friends—on Facebook, of course.
