‘New Girl’ Actress Zooey Deschanel Celebrates 3-Year Anniversary with Boyfriend Jonathan Scott on Instagram

Zooey Deschanel and her boyfriend, Jonathan Scott, revealed earlier this year that the renovations to their “dream home” were finally complete. And now, the couple is celebrating another major milestone together.

Over the weekend, the New Girl alum and the Property Brothers star celebrated their 3-year anniversary on social media. The 42-year-old actress posted a series of photos of them together on Instagram, where they posed inside the Magic Castle in Hollywood.

“I got the best one [smiley face with hearts] most wonderful three years ever,” she wrote in the caption. “And thanks magic castle for helping us celebrate last night.”

Not only did Scott see the post and write a sweet comment (He said: “Right back at ya baby”), but he decided to make a sentimental tribute of his own. While sharing the same photos, he wrote in the caption, “Hard to believe…scratch that…Easy to believe it’s already been 3 years with this beautiful soul in my life. @zooeydeschanel you make everything better and what a fitting way to celebrate at the @magiccastlehollywood.”

Deschanel and Scott met back in 2019 while filming an episode of Carpool Karaoke. In the latest issue of Drew + Jonathan Reveal magazine, the television personality talked about how they met. “I obviously knew about her, but the onscreen experience isn’t the same thing as in real life. From the first moment she walked over to say hello, she had a bounce in her step and an energy about her that made me immediately take notice,” Scott said in the interview.

Congrats to the happy couple!
