It's been a busy 2024 for the royals this year. But when it comes to which royal has been the hardest worker, only one can come out on top, and we now know who it is.
Reboot Online counted the number of royal engagements (official events carried out by the British royal family) for each working member using The Court Circular to ultimately reveal who has been putting in the most work this year.
And they found that…drumroll please…Princess Anne is the hardest
Princess Anne secured the top spot, yet again, with 217 royal engagements and a 2.4% increase from 2023, according to the report. November was her busiest month, with 28 engagements—17 more than her brother, King Charles, who came in second place with 186 engagements. Queen Camilla placed sixth with 95 engagements, while Prince William landed in eighth with 71.
Other standout royals include Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester (third place, 126 engagements), Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh (fourth, 124 engagements), and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh (fifth, 108 engagements).
Kate Middleton rounded out the list at number 10, managing 11 engagements this year. Despite an 88% decrease, her commitment remains evident as she balanced royal duties with health-focused downtime.
2024 has been a tough year for Princess Catherine, who faced significant health challenges early on. In January, she underwent abdominal surgery, and just two months later, she revealed her cancer diagnosis in March. Middleton officially made her return to royal duties in mid-September after completing preventative chemotherapy.
The Princess of Wales wasn’t the only royal navigating health struggles. King Charles, her father-in-law, also received a cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
