Melanie Lynskey, 45, had nothing but great things to say about Drew Barrymore, 48, when she stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. But, the best part was when she ended up doing a seriously spot-on impression of the 50 First Dates actress.

It all started because Lynskey was telling a story from when she and Barrymore worked together on the Cinderella-inspired film Ever After. Apparently, Barrymore got her co-star a gift, and Lynskey wanted to return the favor.

“She gave me a gift when we started doing Ever After and it was so sweet,” Lynskey said. “And I was like, ‘I want to get her a gift.’ And I found, at this antique market, these plates with a butterfly opening in different stages. I was like, ‘Perfect!’”

As the Yellowjackets star recounted Barrymore's reaction, she did so with an impression of the Santa Clarita Diet star...and it was seriously impressive.

Lynskey said, “I gave them to her, and she was like, ‘Oh my God! If each one of these plates was to fall to the floor and smash into a thousand, million pieces, each one of the pieces would scream, ‘I love you Melanie.’”

Immediately after doing Barrymore's voice, Fallon jumped up and started laughing and clapping. “Oh my gosh, that is unbelievable!” he said. Lynskey responded, “I'm so nervous. It wasn't a very good impression.” However, Fallon told her: “That is an unbelievable impression. That is exactly Drew, by the way!”

Lynskey used the story as an example of why she loves Barrymore so much. Earlier in the clip, the Last of Us star said: “She's just like the most special, the kindest person.”

Melanie, we wanna see you do impressions more often.
