If there’s one thing we know about Meghan Markle, it’s that she has a knack for cooking. The Duchess of Sussex has shown us that she knows how to make a cozy cocktail and a yummy spaghetti alla chitarra. And now, the mother of two is using her culinary skills once again to share one of her fav dessert recipes with the world in a new cookbook.

In a new update shared on the Archewell Foundation website on Tuesday, March 14, the nonprofit announced that Markle’s very own lemon olive oil cake recipe will be featured in Chef José Andrés’s (a longtime friend and partner of the organization) new cookbook, The World Central Kitchen Cookbook: Feeding Humanity, Feeding Hope.

The upcoming cookbook (available for preorder here) includes a plethora of captivating stories and recipes from renowned chefs, local cooks and friends of the organization who have helped those heavily impacted by natural disasters and humanitarian emergencies.

Although the cookbook’s release date has not been revealed yet, the organization shared that all of the proceeds raised from the cookbook sales will be donated to the World Central Kitchen to help people in need.

Back in March 2021, Markle, 41, baked her lemon olive oil cake (recipe to come) and sent it to a group of WCK-related female chefs and restaurateurs.

This is not the first time the Duchess of Sussex has supported a cookbook that helps people in need. Back in 2018, Markle and the women of Hubb Community Kitchen worked together to create a charity cookbook titled Together: Our Community Cookbook, which features an array of diverse recipes and narratives crafted by the women themselves.

Can we have a slice of Meghan’s lemon olive oil cake? Thank you very much.
