Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Said Their Daughters Couldn't Care Less About Their New Line of Plant-Based Baby Products

Kristen Bell's top priority as a mom? Knowing exactly what's going on (or in) her kids' bodies. Hubby—and dad—Dax Shepard's goal? Affordability always. Put those two things together and you've got Hello Bello, the power couple's brand-new line of organic, plant-based baby products, exclusively available at Walmart stores nationwide and on Walmart.com.

We caught up with Bell and Shepard at an exclusive event in New York City to celebrate the launch. There, Bell explained that she wanted to create a line that she would actually use (and trust) on her own two kids, daughters Lincoln, 5, and Delta, 4.

For his part, Shepard says he was overwhelmed by the volume of options—and the price points—of so many parenting must-haves and wanted to help solve for that.

They did—with a collection of baby essentials that includes wipes, lotion, shampoo, bug spray, sunscreen and diapers. (There's even a diaper with a cute—and Kristen-inspired—sloth print.)

As for how they came up with the name Hello Bello, Shepard confirms it's actually a riff on both of their daughters’ middle names (Bell).

So we had to ask: Are their kids thrilled to be included in their parents’ newest venture? Nah, says Dax. “They're much more focused on getting information on the exact time they'll be allowed to eat ice cream next,” he says. “They want specifics—like, when in the week will ice cream be happening.”

Priorities.
