For any home decor enthusiast, Architectural Digest is the ultimate stage for showcasing a dream-worthy home. The publication frequently spotlights impeccably curated spaces, often belonging to beloved celebrities. So naturally, when Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos shared their video tour with Architectural Digest, I had to check it out—along with nearly a million others within its first day on YouTube, where it’s also trending.

The Live with Kelly and Mark hosts offered an intimate look inside their Upper East Side townhouse, a residence they’ve cherished for over a decade and Ripa lovingly describes as their “favorite place on earth.” From the outset, the couple envisioned a home that blends the elegance of 1920s and 1930s French glamor with the functionality of modern family living—a vision brought to life with the expertise of AD100 designer William Sofield.

Their Art Deco-inspired home is brimming with character and unique touches. Many of the light fixtures were sourced from antique markets in Paris, a detail Ripa is particularly fond of. Another standout feature is a series of striking paintings of their children’s eyes, which line the hallway. The couple, married for 28 years, shares three children: Michael, 27; Lola, 23; and Joaquin, 21.

“They don’t live here anymore, so when we leave our bedroom it feels like they’re still with us,” Consuelos shares. Ripa adds, “I could stare at my kids’ eyes forever. I just think they’re great.”

The home also includes a one-of-a-kind cigar lounge affectionately dubbed "the ultimate guys' room." Equipped with a specialized ventilation system, the lounge ensures the space “never smells like cigars,” Ripa notes.

Beyond its stylish details, the heart of their home is the kitchen. It features a cozy dining area, a coffee corner, a snack pantry and access to their garden—perfect for everyday living and entertaining alike.

For those dreaming of taking this property off of these empty nesters' home, think again. After raising their family in this stunning space, Ripa and Consuelos have no plans of leaving, they’re ready to embrace the next chapter in their lives right here.

“I don’t want to sound morbid,” Ripa quips, “but they’ll have to carry me out of here feetfirst because I’ve gotten good and comfortable in this house.”
