It’s no secret that Prince George looks identical to his dad, Prince William. But when it comes to Prince Louis, it seems he’s taking after his mom, Kate Middleton. And thanks to a rare throwback photo of the Duchess as a child, we finally have our proof.
Hello! magazine uncovered a photo of Middleton as a little girl that the duchess originally posted for Father’s Day back in 2020.
If you scroll to the right in the post above, you’ll see the duchess (who was about 7 at the time) sitting on her dad’s knee. She’s wearing a plaid shirt and jeans, and she’s rocking Princess Charlotte’s go-to hairstyle of braids.
It didn’t take long for royal aficionados to flood the comments section with messages about the likeness between Middleton’s childhood photo and Prince Louis. One person reportedly wrote, “Is that Louis or mama?” Another added, “Looks just like Louis!”
This isn’t the first time we’ve noticed the resemblance between Prince Louis and a Middleton, with similarities applying to the duchess’s extended family, too. In December 2020, Prince Louis attended a special pantomime performance at the Palladium Theatre with his mom and siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
After the photos surfaced online, fans were quick to point out the uncanny resemblance between Prince Louis and Middleton’s dad, Michael. Everything from his round face to his kind eyes looked identical to his grandpa.
