Julia Roberts Dishes on Her Infamous Armpit Hair on ‘Busy Tonight’

Busy Philipps asked all the right questions about Julia Roberts’s armpit hair on a recent episode of Busy Tonight.

Yesterday, the late-night host took us back to 1999 and demanded an explanation from Roberts about her infamous armpit hair at the Notting Hill premiere. (We know, we can’t believe it took this long either.)

In the video, Philipps begins by showing a photo from the premiere, which features Roberts’s unshaven pits.

When the host asks if it was female empowerment or simply laziness, Roberts jokes that she wasn’t aware of the length (or lack thereof) of her sleeves.
