Jennifer Garner recently showcased her playful side while enjoying some summertime fun with her children.

In a heartwarming moment posted on social media, Garner, 53—who shares daughters Violet Anne, 18, and Seraphina Rose, 15, and son Samuel, 12, with ex-husband Ben Affleck—revealed a fun pool game she plays with her kids.

In the post, Garner sports goggles and a black one-piece swimsuit as she demonstrates how to play a game where each player places three spoons in different areas of the pool and then they have to retrieve them all before a 30-second timer goes off.

”If you have access to a pool, spoons and goggles—please borrow my recipe for a good time. Kid not required,” the 13 Going on 30 actress captioned the clip.

In the comments, people shared their admiration for Garner and her quirky pool game.

“Diving for pool toys never gets old! You can also take an old garden hose and cut it up for the same purpose,” wrote one. Another chimed, “Just when I thought I couldn’t love you more!!! Great pool game!” A third added, “Trying this immediately.”

It’s no surprise that the mom-of-three would find a way to have some fun, especially since her mom seems to know how to have a good time as well.

Back in May, Garner celebrated her mother Pat's 86th birthday with a delightful Instagram tribute that had fans in stitches. The post featured a hilarious slideshow capturing candid moments between Garner and her mom, including heartwarming phone chats and cherished quality time together.

Among the highlights was a particularly side-splitting moment from Garner filming her IG series, Pretend Cooking Show. In the clip, she attempted to whip up buttermilk from scratch due to an unexpected shortage. In a typical daughter move, the Deadpool & Wolverine actress sought culinary advice from her mom over the phone, leading to a comical exchange of queries. Her mother's deadpan response, "I don't know, Jennifer. I'm rarely without buttermilk," stole the show with its perfect blend of wit and maternal wisdom.
