There's a new kind of magic in Bonnie Wright's life. The 32-year-old actress who played Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter film series just announced that she and her husband, Andrew Lococo, 39, are expecting their first child together.

The Harry Potter alum revealed the exciting news by posting a series of baby bump photos to Instagram. In the snaps, she and Lococo pose in front of a mountainous backdrop. Wright cradles her baby bump in the first pic, while Lococo wraps his arms around his wife in the second.

“We’re having a baby!” Wright gushed in the caption. “So excited to share this beautiful land with them. What a wild and humbling journey pregnancy is, transforming to make space for new life. Andrew and I can’t wait to meet our baby later this year and become parents...it feels like they’re coming to say hello in the little rainbow orb across my belly.”

Wright and Lococo got married a little over a year ago, on March 19, 2022. The actress formerly known as Ginny revealed their wedding date with a subtle Instagram video, where she showed off their wedding bands and wrote, “Yesterday was the best day of my life [blue heart emoji] thanks to my husband!!” According to his LinkedIn, Lococo has served as a Senior Buyer at the sportswear company Soccerloco for years.

While the two have never divulged when exactly they started dating, they started posting photos together on social media in 2020, as noted by People and Us Weekly. Now, it looks like their family will be getting a little bigger.

After Wright made the surprise announcement, people flooded the comments with their congratulations. So, Wright followed up by posting another baby bump pic to her IG Story, with a caption that said: “Thank you for all the sweet baby love.”
