If you're like us, then you've probably already plowed through all nine episodes of Squid Game and you're still reeling from the effects. While there are so many things to admire about Netflix's highly successful new television series, there's one star who has really stood out for many fans: HoYeon Jung.
Jung portrays Kang Sae-byeok on the series, a tough-willed loner and a pickpocket who defected from North Korea and is trying to reunite with her family. Jung offers a terrific performance in the Netflix drama, and while this wasn't her first glimpse of fame (she has featured in many runway shows and magazine spreads, as well as taken the runner-up spot on the fourth season of Korea's Next Top Model), the star's stock has only skyrocketed since the premiere of the show.
This past week, Jung quickly racked up millions of followers and became the most-followed Korean actress on Instagram. Soon after, Louis Vuitton announced that she was one of the company's newest global ambassadors, and we can totally understand why.
