We all have our favorite go-to brands. Whether it’s the way the jeans fit or how on top of current trends the new arrivals are, there are a bunch reasons why we go back to the same ones again and again. One of my ultimate go-tos? Reformation.

The brand is known for putting sustainability first in its efforts to create trendy and fashionable pieces you can wear on a daily basis, to weddings and everything in between. The clothes are made from low-impact materials—the site is a certified Climate Neutral company and plans to be Climate Positive this year and to have a fully circular fashion system by 2030—and the designs are great investment pieces.

While few companies have matched this dedication to the environment, there are a bunch of stores like Reformation that have either started to make strides toward becoming more environmentally friendly or just match Reformation’s style vibe. Here, 16 brands like Reformation for you to dive into.

Most Size Inclusive

1. Abercrombie & Fitch

What I Like

  • clothing and shoes
  • size inclusive
  • affordable price point

What I Don’t Like

  • tends to sell out quickly

Abercrombie & Fitch

This early-aughts favorite has been having a major comeback lately, and I can’t help but think some of its latest designs might be inspired by Reformation classics. A&F’s selection features fabulous ready-to-wear pieces, wedding guest dresses and timeless denim I can’t get enough of. Even better, the brand has made significant strides to become more size inclusive, with every style available in the full size range, plus curve sizes for pants and jeans specifically made for those with wider hips and a smaller waist.

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XXS to XXXL and US 23 to 37
  • Price Range: approximately $20 to $450

Best for Workwear

2. Aritzia

What I Like

  • huge range of products
  • high quality
  • also carries third party brands like Agolde and Calvin Klein

What I Don’t Like

  • fit can vary across brands

Aritzia

Trendy, feminine and a little vintage, Canadian mega-retailer Aritzia has won over many hearts with their celebrity-favorite Super Puff coat, sexy slip dresses and muted basics that go with everything. The draw? Quality clothes at a mid-range price point. It also has multiple in-house labels that cater to different aesthetics to fit any style, from minimalist workwear to sporty athleisure to flirty mini dresses.

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: 3XS to 3XL and US 00 to 16
  • Price Range: approximately $15 to $498

Best Designer Brand

3. Staud

What I Like

  • clothing, handbags and shoes
  • customizable designs
  • trendy and timeless pieces

What I Don’t Like

  • higher price point

Staud

LA-based brand Staud is ideal for those who love to stand out without going too over-the-top. It’s know for meshing classic silhouettes and materials with unexpected details, like cool cutouts, bold colors and funky prints. Beyond clothing, Staud also offers supremely chic handbags—like the viral Moon shoulder bag and beaded Tommy bag—as well as pet-themed products, which you can customize with your furry bestie’s name and face.

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XXS to XL and US 00 to 16
  • Price Range: approximately $90 to $1,300 for clothing, $150 to $595 for handbags

Best for Wardrobe Staples

4. Quince

What I Like

  • affordable price point
  • clothing for the whole family
  • also sells home goods

What I Don’t Like

  • fewer trendy pieces

Quince

You can take comfort in knowing Quince works hard to use sustainably produced materials like organic cotton and linen to craft its gorgeous wardrobe basics. As an added bonus, it’s generally more affordable than Reformation (most dresses cap at about $80). It also sells men’s and kids’ clothing, as well as home goods like blankets, towels and decorative rugs.

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XS to XL and US 0 to 16
  • Price Range: approximately $15 to $250

5. Posse

What I Like

  • sustainably and ethically produced
  • chic ready-to-wear options
  • celebrity-approved

What I Don’t Like

  • sells out quickly

Posse

This Australian label has already earned a number of dedicated celeb fans (Sofia Richie, Katie Holmes, Meghan Markle) who’ve been spotted wearing the chic, simple styles Posse does so well. The brand puts a big emphasis on using sustainably-sourced, high-quality materials and works only with ethical factories, much like Reformation. Alas, it also produces very small batches (good for the environment, bad for the masses trying to shop their favorite styles), meaning best-sellers are frequently sold out. Restocks are always on the horizon, for those willing to wait, but I highly suggest signing up for emails so you know exactly when the latest drop has arrived.

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XXS to XL
  • Price Range: approximately $100 to $350

Best for Denim

6. Madewell

What I Like

  • clothing, shoes and accessories
  • trendy and timeless pieces

What I Don’t Like

  • tends to sell out quickly

Madewell

Madewell has tons of chic styles with which to build your wardrobe, but it’s the denim that truly impressed me. There’s a wide variety of styles to shop, including both petite and tall lengths, whether you’re looking for trendy low-rise silhouettes or a more timeless mid-rise straight leg. Be sure to check out the accessories as well—the handbags in particular look far more expensive than their price tags. (Note: Not all styles come in the full size range, but most go up to a size 3X.)

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XXS to 5X and US 00 to 28
  • Price Range: approximately $20 to $550

Most Affordable

7. Cider

What I Like

  • affordable price point
  • clothing, shoes and accessories
  • trend-forward selection

What I Don’t Like

  • quality can be hit or miss

Cider

If you’re on the hunt for clothes that are both affordable and trendy, be sure to add Cider to your list. While the site is packed with a huge number of styles to scroll through—neatly organized into different aesthetics, I might add—the brand produces everything in small batches to cut down on waste. There are also tons of plus-size options to explore, as well as accessories, bags and shoes.

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XXS to 4XL and US 0 to 24
  • Price Range: approximately $10 to $90

Best for Knitwear

8. Jenni Kayne

What I Like

  • also sells home goods, shoes and accessories
  • superb quality

What I Don’t Like

  • higher price point

Jenni Kayne

Much like Reformation, Jenni Kayne has developed something of a cult following (case in point, the Cocoon Cardigan), with shoppers raving about the knits in particular. The brand as a whole is inspired by Californian vibes—laid back, easy going, but always cool—with an emphasis on high-quality fabrics and construction that will last for years. (Note: Only select styles are offered in plus sizes, with most going up to a size XXL.)

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XS to 3X and US 0 to 14
  • Price Range: approximately $85 to $1,200

Best Party Pieces

9. Bardot

What I Like

What I Don’t Like

  • flat $10 shipping fee and no free returns

Bardot

If your favorite pieces at Reformation tend to be party dresses and going out tops, you’ll likely have a lot to choose from at Bardot. The Australian brand puts a sexy spin on classic styles, with everything made with natural fibers that are sustainably sourced and ethically crafted. P.S. Don’t sleep on the outerwear—it looks and feels far more luxe than the under-$300 price tag would suggest.

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XS to XL and US 2 to 12
  • Price Range: approximately $39 to $279

Best Neutral Hues

10. LPA

What I Like

  • great options for weddings and everyday
  • most styles are under $250

What I Don’t Like

  • less inclusive size range

LPA

This brand was actually created by a former Reformation designer, so there’s bound to be some shared DNA. Sold exclusively at Revolve, LPA has fantastic dress, coat and shoe options, as well as some ready-to-wear tops and bottoms. Its pieces are frequently tagged as “trending” on Revolve’s site, so if you see something you like, I suggest you add it to cart ASAP.

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XXS to XL
  • Price Range: approximately $68 to $498

Best for Everyday Dresses

11. Faithfull The Brand

What I Like

  • sustainable and eco-friendly efforts
  • trendy and timeless designs

What I Don’t Like

  • return shipping covered by the customer

Faithfull the Brand

This beautiful brand, which carries both everyday wardrobe staples and resort wear (including bathing suits), puts a big emphasis on empowering its employees, giving back to the communities in which its products are produced and working to improve its ever-evolving recycling and sustainability efforts. Here, you can find classic silhouettes for building a capsule wardrobe in addition to trendy pieces that’ll help you stay au courant.

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XS to XXL
  • Price Range: approximately $80 to $380

Most Splurge-Worthy Dresses

12. Christy Dawn

What I Like

  • some petite styles offered
  • also sell select home goods and accessories

What I Don’t Like

  • higher price point

Christy Dawn

All Christy Dawn products are made from upcycled fabrics, organic cotton and regeneratively grown cotton. The styles here aim for timeless, classic vibes (think floaty midi dresses in summer and cozy knits for fall) to ensure you can wear them for way longer than you’d wear whatever’s trending right now. The prices may be a bit higher, but for the quality and mission behind the creations, I think they’re totally worth it.

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XXS to 3x
  • Price Range: approximately $30 to $598

Best Minimalist Designs

13. DISSH

What I Like

  • timeless designs
  • high quality

What I Don’t Like

  • sizing isn’t always consistent

DISSH

Another Australian brand to know, DISSH is all about those quiet luxury, ‘90s minimalism vibes. Most pieces come in only neutral hues, but there are handful of other colors as well as prints thrown into the mix. Not sure where to start? I recommend the knit maxi dresses (they tend to run true to size, but if you’re between sizes, opt for the smaller) and the linen sets as well (which tend to run a smidge small).

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XS to XXL and US 0 to 12
  • Price Range: approximately $40 to $300

Best for Occasion Dresses

14. ASTR The Label

We We Like

  • affordable price point
  • great wedding guest dress options

We We Don’t Like

  • reportedly runs small

ASTR The Label

If you’re in need of stylish wedding gust dresses and hoping to spend a little less than you would on a Reformation stunner, ASTR The Label is an absolute must-shop. Of course, the brand has tons of cute ready-to-wear options, too. And the website has pre-selected edits (vacation, girls’ night out, office outfits, etc.) to help you find exactly what you need in a jiffy.

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XS to XL
  • Price Range: approximately $55 to $250

Best Limited Batch Releases

15. Réalisation Par

What I Like

  • impeccable quality
  • flattering cuts
  • fun color and pattern options

What I Don’t Like

  • things tend to sell out quickly
  • limited size range

Réalisation Par

If you live for the feeling of snapping up a limited edition piece before anyone else can get it, you’ll definitely want to check out Réalisation Par. Rather than drop new collections on the regular, the Australian-born brand focuses instead on designing individual pieces that drop on the site whenever they’re ready. The result is a series of impeccably made dresses, tops and skirts that drape beautifully, fit like a dream and are supremely comfortable, no matter what your day has in store. Just remember, if you see something you like, you better add it to your shopping cart ASAP, as things tend to sell out very quickly.

FAST FACTS

  • Size Range: XXS to XXL
  • Price Range: approximately $120 to $285

Best Vintage-Inspired Pieces

16. Stone Cold Fox

What I Don’t Like

  • higher price point
  • limited size range

Stone Cold Fox

This L.A.-based label takes inspiration from rare vintage finds with a focus on pieces that transcend seasons to help you build a more effortless year-round wardrobe. The designs are sexy, sweet and fabulous for dressing up. There are also tons of pieces specifically made for brides that are oh-so dreamy. P.S. You can also shop Stone Cold Fox at Revolve, including multiple items exclusive to the retailer.
