ICYDK, The Gap is made up of four popular brands: Old Navy, Gap, Athleta and, today’s star of the show, Banana Republic. Possibly one of my favorite stores to frequent for upscale, classy fashion, Banana Republic really captures a sophisticated yet approachable aesthetic with elevated basics for your capsule wardrobe. (They also recently released an exclusive capsule collection for The White Lotus with light and airy linen pieces in stunning prints.) But I'm especially drawn to their latest spring collection, which includes must-have items like linen dresses, wide-leg jeans, silk tops and knit sweaters. Trust me, these 15 Banana Republic spring pieces are worth a gander while enjoy some deserved retail therapy.

If you’re not already planning to go on a tropical vacation, this striped dress gives you reason to start booking. It features an earthy color combination that really makes this so unique, and it has a flattering fit and flare silhouette that’s designed to sit close to your body before flaring out at the skirt. Plus, the fabric is supposedly stretchy, thanks to the brands sculpted yarn that gives it that contouring effect.

Small accessories like this sculptural gold and black ring can effortlessly elevate your outfits without much effort, especially with its vintage-inspired design. It’s made of 14k gold-plated brass, so it’ll wear quite well over time, though I suggest limiting exposure to lotions and water to avoid premature tarnishing.

What’s cooler than a pair of loose-fitting jeans with a drawstring waist for spring? Answer: Not much. These are a new style from Banana Republic and use a fabric blend that’s made with 98 percent regenerative cotton and two percent elastane spandex, giving them a super soft, breathable and relaxed feel even though they’re technically a non-stretch denim. They have a classic mid-rise fit that’ll sit at the start of the hips, a wide-leg style and an option of two inseam lengths (regular and long). Pair them with elevated flip flops for the chicest combo.

Another vacation must-have is this breezy maxi dress. From the spaghetti straps to the tie detail at the back and Moroccan floral print, everything about this flowy frock screams sipping Margaritas poolside and OOO email messages. The V-neck ties are adjustable, letting you choose your most comfortable fit, and the pockets add a nice and functional touch for times when you don’t want to bring a purse.

If you liked the previous dress but prefer something with a little more coverage, especially around the arms, then this piece was made for you. It has a gorgeous, tiered design that really emphasizes how flowy it is, and a sweet empire waist that hides your midriff and draws attention to your bosom. All that’s left to do is embellish it with a statement necklace or drop earrings.

In my opinion, a black cotton sweater like this oversize piece from Banana Republic is a non-negational spring essential. On chilly nights and rainy days, this chunky knit will act as your best friend. The V-neckline will look great with nothing underneath or with a plain white tee peeking through, plus it’ll offer a bit of ventilation. It’s also such an ideal piece to drape over your shoulders or tie around your waist.

How about a raffia beach tote that could pass as a chic everyday staple? This stunner is handwoven from a black and white marled raffia fabric, so no two are alike. The interior is lined with a twill fabric and features one zip pocket and two slip pockets all held secure with a magnetic clasp. It’s the type of bag that gives me Toteme vibes, with its minimal-yet-elevated aesthetic.

Trendy denim is so fun, but there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a solid, classic pair of jeans like this best-selling, wide-leg Icon style from Banana Republic. You can think of these as a comfortable and reliable option that’ll lengthen your legs and make you look nice and snatched, thanks to the comfort-stretch fabric and fitted make at the waist and hips. They’re available in two inseams—regular that measures 31 inches long and tall, which measures 34 inches—though petite buyers may need to have them tailored as they are quite long.

A cute rain jacket and bucket hat? Sign me up. Banana Republic certainly knows how to make a water-resistant and ultra-lightweight coat that’s both cool and chic. I’d chalk it up to the crinkle nylon fabric, which gives it that lived-in, airy effect. Don’t be fooled by the super relaxed silhouette, either, because it has a ton of functional features like snap closures, a stand collar, pockets and, of course, that bucket hat that’ll save you from a bad hair day the next time it randomly starts to rain cats and dogs.

PureWow readers love a shirt dress, and this one I found from Banana Republic might just be the most regal options I’ve seen in a long time. It has relaxed fit that’s tied together (literally) with a tassel drawstring at the waist, which makes for such a flattering fit. On top of that, you can expect it to be just as comfy as it looks because it’s made from a nice blend that incorporates rayon, linen and cotton.

All those Banana Republic dresses need a sleek pair of sandals. Enter: these knotted, suede slides. They boast a molded footbed that sounds like a dream for achy feet. Add on the fact that the twisted upper is made from a soft and delicate suede fabric, and you have yourself some comfy sandals that look extremely cute.

Picture this: You’re at a destination wedding in Mexico City wearing this vibrant maxi dress. While there’s no award for best dressed wedding guest, you can be secretly happy knowing you earned the title in this number. From its luxurious silk fabric to its twisted, halter neckline and drop-waist silhouette, everything about this formal gown exudes a confident elegance. Psst, there’s even a tasteful slit at the front for a nice peek-a-boo leg moment.

I’m such a fan of midi skirts, especially styles like this cotton poplin piece because its breezy and oh-so easy to wear. I like that this one has a ruched, drop-waist design, which will suction along your waist and have an overall slimming effect. It’s one of those comfy skirts that you’ll want to wear up until the last few days of summer, whether you’re frolicking on a beach or going on a produce run at the grocery store.

This top is giving major Victoria Ratliff vibes, and I’m so here for it. It’s crafted from a luxe silk—a design perk Ratliff would *so* approve of—and boasts a thickly lined V-neck that commands attention. (As does that green motif.)

This darling midi dress reminds me so much of the viral SNDYS dress from Revolve that had me in a chokehold two summers ago. It has a similar cut-out at the chest, which will do wonders for my fellow small-chested girlies, and a cute crisscross tie design at the back. And the fact that it comes in this season’s most talked about color, powder pink, makes it even more special.
