Chances are, if you're a fashion junkie, you've heard of Amazon’s in-house line, The Drop. It began as a hub for small, influencer-designed fashion collections, and has since expanded into a mainstay in-house brand of the mega-retailer. While some of The Drop’s collections are seasonal or limited-time partnerships with influencers, many of the items can be shopped any time and worn for far longer than the few months trendier styles stay popular. I combed through all of the best summer staples that will mix and match well with just about everything in your closet, while also offering a wide variety of sizing to flatter all kinds of body types. Check out 18 of my favorite picks below.

This summer’s hero staple? A breezy dress you can throw on for anything. This tiered style, in particular, which features two side pockets, is a great layering piece to have in your closet: Simply add sneakers and a fisherman sweater to keep it casual on chillier days, or wear it with a pair of heels to your next shindig. Plus, it comes in 20 color options, so you might want to pick up more than one.

This cardi makes this list of must-haves because it’s the perfect boating companion, is great to drape over your work chair on a chilly day and will go with just about any pair of shorts you can rustle up. Another bonus is that this sweater is machine washable (because who has time for hanging their jumpers out to dry?), and has two big hand pockets at the front.

The woven design of these comfy slide is just interesting enough to separate them from the sea of usual boring slides or flip-flops, but not so bold that they can’t go with anything and everything in your wardrobe. And at this price, you won't break the bank picking up more than one color to suit your outfit and mood. Reviews say they do run narrow, however, so consider sizing up when ordering.

It doesn’t get much more versatile than a good slip skirt for summer, and this midi-length pick can easily be worn casually or dressed up. It’s made from a lightweight polyester and elastane blend, so it has some stretch, plus it’s conveniently machine washable so spills are nothing to stress over. Choose from any of 19 different colors, including multiple trendy animal prints.

Made from a soft, drapey linen, this dress is one you’ll want to wear on repeat as long as the weather allows. It’s designed with cute, subtle cutouts in both the front and back, and shoppers say it feels soft and breezy. The cutouts are even strategically placed so you can still wear a regular bra underneath without having it show through.

Every woman needs a classic blazer in her closet, and this one has a flattering, relaxed fit that gives off the perfect menswear vibes thanks to its longer length and tuxedo-like lapels. It has a single button at the waist that can be closed for a more professional look, or worn open with a T-shirt and shorts for the perfect tailored summer ensemble.

These pull-on sweater pants are an ideal comfy staple that you’ll want to wear everywhere, from summer road trips to your daily coffee run. They’ve earned more than 600 5-star reviews, with buyers calling out the softness and stretchiness of the material. One shopper shares, “I wore [these pants] on a very long trip I took to the other side of the world. I was comfortable the whole time, it kept its shape and looked good.”

A snakeskin crossbody is a great wardrobe addition no matter the season, but is particularly smart right now with the current animal print craze. (That said, it also comes in a croc-embossed black if you prefer.) The strap can be adjusted and worn as a shoulder bag or crossbody, and the interior has ample room for all your essentials.

This button-up do-it-all dress is a staple so good you can wear it from the office to the beach to brunch—and basically anywhere else, too. The linen fabric is reportedly light and breathable, and the slits at the hem provide just the right amount of volume. Shoppers rave that it looks simple-yet-elevated and keeps you feeling cool in the heat.

These machine-washable cotton shorts are outfitted with a stretchy waistband that you’ll love for staying comfy on long summer days. The shorts have pockets on the side (always a win in our books) and the 6-inch inseam won’t feel too short to wear to family cookouts. Choose from five different stripe patterns and four different solids for your ultimate summer wardrobe addition.

A straw bag is never a bad idea for summer, but this black number can also be carried throughout spring and even fall to give you even more versatility. It has a cotton lining that cinches at the top to ensure your belongings remain safely tucked away, with the straw shell gives it shape and structure. It also come with a fixed shoulder strap and longer crossbody strap so you can switch things up on the go.

With a smocked panel in back and hidden elastic in the bodice, you can feel confident this strapless midi will stay in place for all-day wear. Dress it up with some bold jewelry and a colorful block heel for an outdoor wedding, or tone things down with simple flip-flops and a straw bag for a day of strolling along the boardwalk. And yes, it has pockets.

Give your summer footwear collection a literal boost with these platform espadrilles, available in ten different color options. The two front straps help ensure your feet feel secure as you walk, and the adjustable ankle strap provides added support while looking extra chic. All ten colors come in half sizes US 5 through 10, as well as whole sizes 11, 12 and 13.

There’s a reason this silhouette was the It look of the summer a few seasons back—it’s incredibly comfortable, supremely flattering and oh-so easy to wear. And that all remains true for summer 2025, making this best-seller a total no brainer in my book. Choose from any of 15 different colors, including seven florals that are oh-so dreamy.

I love a good linen trouser for days when you want to feel put together but the weather requires you wear something breathable. The pleated front of these Amalia pants creates a gorgeous drape and is more forgiving for wider hips and thicker thighs. They’re also machine washable, though you may want to skip the dryer to prevent unwanted shrinkage.

Wear this denim number as a shirt or a jacket with silver buttons up the front and two extra-large pockets on the sides. Multiple reviewers mention the thickness of the material as a major selling point, and though it is designed for a slightly oversize fit, most suggest sticking with your usual size when ordering.

The buttons down the front of this frock may not be functional (instead there’s a hidden zipper on the side) but they are a fabulous finishing touch that helps make this easy dress look far more expensive than its under-$100 price tag. The V-neck is just low enough to feel subtly sexy but can still be worn with a regular T-shirt bra. And the hem has a small slit up the front to add movement and shape.

Drop waist dresses are a big trend this summer, so why not join in the fun with this breezy sleeveless number? It comes in eight cool colors including black, caramel brown and the hot pink pictured above. All have pockets on the sides and are made of a cotton poplin material. Just know, Amazon recommends sizing down if you are between two sizes when ordering.
