Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t announced a release date for Sweet Magnolias season four. This should change soon because the streaming service recently renewed the show for season four, which will consist of ten episodes.
This wasn’t a huge surprise because the story is based on the book series by Sherryl Woods, and season three concluded with multiple cliffhangers.
The main trio—JoAnna Garcia Swisher (Maddie), Heather Headley (Helen) and Brooke Elliott (Dana Sue)—will likely return to reprise their roles. Other cast members include Jamie Lynn Spears (Noreen), Chris Klein (Bill), Justin Bruening (Cal), Carson Rowland (Tyler) Logan Allen (Kyle), Anneliese Judge (Annie), Brandon Quinn (Ronnie) and Dion Johnstone (Erik).
Sweet Magnolias is based on the best-selling book series by Sherryl Woods. The story follows three childhood best friends—Maddie, Helen and Dana Sue—who never left their hometown of Serenity, South Carolina. And now, they’re supporting each other through the ups and downs of adulthood.
