Ryan Seacrest Switched Up His Look on ‘Live with Kelly and Ryan’ Today

Ryan Seacrest is taking a page from Kelly Ripa's book by spicing up his look, and we're totally into it.

On today's episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, the 47-year-old co-host looked dapper in his black suit and matching shoes, which he paired with a white shirt. But while we love to see the TV personality rock his formal chic ensembles, he switched things up with one particular accessory that caught our attention: a pair of black glasses.

Fortunately for us, the official Live account shared a clip of Seacrest and Ripa's grand entrance, which includes a glimpse of his stylish eyewear. In the video, Seacrest, ever the gentleman, pulls out Ripa's chair for her before taking his own seat. Once they get settled in, there's lingering applause from one person, and Ripa, who's wearing a black top and gray pencil skirt, says, "The applause of one is still applause."

If you recall, this isn't the first time Seacrest has donned new eyewear on the morning show. For example, in February 2021, the American idol star wore his square specs with a sweater vest and blazer. And in December, he channeled his inner Clark Kent by wearing black glasses with a suit and tie. In response, one fan wrote, “Ryan should ALWAYS have the glasses!“ TBH, agreed.

Seacrest isn't the only one who has worn this accessory on the show. Ripa has donned specs a number of times. For example, back in 2020, Ripa ditched her contacts and stepped out in a black pair glasses instead. And in a behind-the-scenes clip, she joked about her sight, stating that she's been quite content with not wearing her glasses, even though she doesn't see as clearly without them.

Fingers crossed that Ripa and Seacrest will turn this into a twinning moment in the near future.
