Why Cassie Bowden in ‘The Flight Attendant’ Is Actually the Worst

If you can’t stand Cassie’s behavior on The Flight Attendant, you’re not alone.

On the latest episode of The Worst, PureWow creator Matthew details all the reasons why Cassandra “Cassie” Bowden (played by Kaley Cuoco) is the most disliked character on The Flight Attendant. (And his reasoning has nothing to do with the actress’s recent comments about not wanting to return for season 3.)

Watch this video to see Matthew’s honest review and keep scrolling to learn why Cassie Bowden is the absolute worst.

3 Reasons why Cassie Bowden is the worst:

1. She makes the worst decisions
As Matthew points out, Cassie’s behavior is downright suspicious. When she wakes up next to a dead man in season one, her actions spiral out of control. “Instead of calling 911 to see what happens, she just assumes in her mind, ‘Oh, f***. I did this,’” he says. “So, she starts cleaning up the crime scene. Big mistake. Huge!”

Matthew continues, “I get that she was shocked and really scared to go to jail in Thailand, but at the same time, it’s like…if you didn’t do anything, you didn’t do anything.”

2. She gets too invested in things
Cassie gets way too involved, which (as a result) puts her in danger. “If you woke up next to a dead person, would you go to their funeral?” Matthew asks. “Because I don’t know if I would. But Cassie did. Cassie went to his funeral, putting herself in the middle of a hurricane.”

3. She never tells the truth
According to Matthew, Cassie’s “biggest flaw” is her inability to tell the truth. “She just, sort of, trips over the truth,” he adds. “She doesn’t actually say everything that happened, even though she’s innocent.”
