Paris Hilton is a married woman (and a new mom!), and we’ve seen so many pics of her and Carter Reum together, but we realize that we don’t know a ton about her hubby. Reum is an American author, entrepreneur and venture capitalist. The 40-year-old and his brother Courtney co-founded tech venture capital firm M13 and also launched the acai spirits brand Veev. He also wrote the advice book, “Shortcut Your Startup.”
Hilton and Reum met through mutual friends and began dating back in 2019. In February 2021, Hilton shared the engagement news on her personal Instagram account and posted a video featuring candid shots from the proposal, which took place on her 40th birthday. Hilton’s massive engagement ring was designed by Jean Dousset. The sparkler features a large rectangular diamond that’s accompanied by a smaller gem on each side.
Hilton captioned the post, “When you find your soulmate, you don’t just know it. You feel it. My love & I have been together since our first date, and for my birthday, he arranged a special trip to tropical paradise. As we walked to dinner along the beach, Carter led us to a cabana adorned with flowers and dropped to one knee. I said yes, yes to forever [heart emoji].”
Hilton and Reum said, “I do,” on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at her late grandfather Barron's estate in Beverly Hills. For the occasion, she donned a stunning Oscar De La Renta gown. The guest list was packed with stars such as Emma Roberts, Bebe Rexha and Hilton’s aunt, Kyle Richards. The following day, the TV personality held a carnival-themed celebration at the Santa Monica Pier. And a few days later, the couple held a second reception for close family and friends at their original venue.
Yes, they do! In January 2023, Hilton and Reum welcomed a baby boy via surrogate. The new mom shared the exciting news on her Instagram page by posting a photo of herself holding the hand of her newborn son. “You are already loved beyond words,” she wrote with a blue heart emoji.
Hilton exclusively told People that she’s so excited to be a mom. “It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other,” she said to the magazine. “We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”
