There's an X-Box Series X Bundle on Sale for Black Friday—But It *Will* Sell Out

Few things are as delightful to video gamers as a new console wrapped and tied with a bow. Whether it's your millennial friend who can't stop playing Hogwarts Legacy (was $70, now $40) or a teen in your life whose eyes are glued to Minecraft Dungeons (was $40, now $20), it's safe to say you can't go wrong with a brand-new X-Box. That's why you need to click on over to the X-Box Series X Black Friday 2023 sale at Walmart. Currently, the Diablo IV bundle is nearly 30 percent off, knocking the price down from $600 to $439. To give you an idea of how good of a deal that really is, that's the same price as the Series X video game console (was $499, now $439), but with the added bonus of Diablo IV ($90). Like we said, mega steal.

So what's so special about the Diablo IV bundle? For starters, the Series X is touted as the company's most powerful Xbox iteration yet. That's all thanks to the console's 12 teraflops of processing power (read: It's lightning-fast), one-terabyte SSD and insanely fast loading time courtesy of its Xbox Velocity Architecture. No more lags that push you down the leaderboard. And, everything is rendered in hyper-realistic 4K.

Additionally, the console includes various in-game items, such as the light-bearer mount with Caparison of Faith mount armor, Inarius wings and Inarius murloc pet, Amalgam of Rage mount for World of Warcraft and Umber Winged Darkness cosmetics set for Diablo Immortal. (The games are available in Xbox Game Pass.) Speaking of which, there's also an option to add on the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate ($15/month), which provides nearly instant access to games, new and old, from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda Softworks and other popular creators.

Another can't-miss deal is the Xbox Series S bundle, which includes a second wireless controller ($58) and three month game pass ($50). The bundle is retailing for $290—down from the original $370—meaning you save 22 percent. You could also opt for the Xbox Series S starter bundle (was $300, now $249), which comes with the a game pass but no extra controller. It's still a pretty good setup, considering that the Series S alone is on sale for $249 (normally $299), though we'd probably opt to spend the $42 more to get the wireless controller and three months of gaming thrown into the pot. Both will be great picks if you're trying to stretch your budget, the person you're shopping for is tight on space or they're just getting started in the gaming world. That's because the Series S is Xbox's smallest console, but still has super-quick processing speeds from its the Velocity Architecture and can give them access to thousands of games.

If you thought this was the end of the Xbox deals think again: Walmart is running tons of other tempting Black Friday 2023 deals on Xbox equipment, including various gaming bundles, controllers and refurbished units. They're bound to sell out, so act fast—it's basically your call of duty (sorry, we had to) to win the title of the year's best gift giver.
