When Is the Best Buy Black Friday Sale?

The Best Buy Black Friday Sale has officially kicked off and will continue through November 30. The deals start now, and you can expect new sales to be added throughout the month as Black Friday and Cyber Monday approach.

What Are the Top Best Buy Black Friday Deals?

From health and fitness gadgets to top tech items like TVs and tablets, there are tons of incredible deals included in the store’s Black Friday deals. Here are a few sales to catch before they're gone.

What Is the Return Policy During the Best Buy Black Friday Sale?

If you’re a My Best Buy Plus or My Best Buy Total member, you'll get access to 60-day returns and exchanges on most products. If you're shopping as the general public, the store's standard return policy is in place for you, which is extended for the holiday season. Meaning, most purchases made between now and December 31 are eligible for returns through January 14, 2025. Devices such as cellphones, tablets, wearables, etc. are eligible for returns within 14 days of purchase.

This gives you ample time to decide if you love your purchases (although we have a feeling you'll want to keep the picks from our list below).

From marathoning Hallmark movies to the most romantic Christmas movies (ugh, looking at you, The Holiday), all your holiday flicks deserve projection on the big screen. The 65-inch Roku Smart TV connects you to all the major streaming services, plus gaming consoles, live TV and cable. That means your brother can play Call of Duty; you can catch up on the latest season of Yellowstone, your dad can watch Be My Guest and your kids can watch Bluey on the 4K LED screen that renders everything lifelike. Now how’s that for a crowd-pleaser?

For the friend or family member in your life who believes every day is a party. Google Nest Audio allows them to stream music from Spotify, YouTube, SIRIUS and Pandora. Additionally, there’s the possibility of creating an entire home sound system using multiple Nests and compatible speakers and Chromecast-enabled devices. (Because who doesn’t want a spontaneous dance party on a random Tuesday?) Plus, the tech can function as an intercom and information hub for everything from sports to the weather. All you have to do is say. “Hey, Google.”

Time to hop on the air fryer train. Though, they can be ginormous. If you don’t love the look of a traditional air fryer (they can be a bit industrial), the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro will sit pretty on your countertop while still delivering 13 cooking functions. Toast, broil, bake, roast, air fry, slow cook, dehydrate and more. The oven has a two speed fan (Regular and Super) that helps distribute the air when air frying, roasting and dehydrating foods. It also as the capacity to roast up to 14 pounds of turkey, if, heaven forbid, your oven goes berserk on Thanksgiving Day.

“The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro are seriously unlike any other headphones on the market, and believe it or not, it's not all thanks to its high-resolution audio experience, which fully immerses you in whatever you're listening to (even if it’s just your mom on the other end of a phone call),” writes PureWow Associate Sales and Deals Editor Destinee Scott. She also praises the myriad customization capabilities, listening modes and the Interpreter App. “Samsung thought of everything when designing these earbuds, which I’m happy to confirm have a battery that lasts for up to seven hours without the charging case.” Consider this the perfect gift for the Android user in your life, as the headphones work best with Samsung Galaxy devices. While compatible with Apple products, you won’t have access to as many of the cool features.

Looking for a perfect gift for someone who’s been recently bitten by the video game bug? The HP Victus gaming laptop, with its nearly perfect five-star rating, is sure to please the new gamer. It’s considered an entry-level gaming laptop that’s great for the casual gamer and multitasker extraordinaire. “I will say that the computer is great for beginners, especially the 8GB Ram with half a terabyte,” notes one buyer, who gave it five stars. “I’ve been using it for weeks. It’s fast, smooth and perfect for [studying], and [video games].”

For the real coffee snobs who couldn’t fathom drinking something that trickled from a pod, I present to you the stainless steel Nespresso Vertuo Creatista. Six cups sizes ranging from espresso to an 18-ounce pour-over, a steam wand that can produce latte art, three milk settings to control temperature and texture and cleaning alerts. Whew. Before you know it, you’ll be a bonafide barista.

“The Nest Thermostat allows me to manage temperatures remotely, so I'm not wasting energy while I'm away,” says PureWow Vice President of Editorial Candace Davison, who uses all the Google Nest products—and raves about them. Perfect for the family member or friend who is always leaving the AC at 69 degrees even when the house is empty. (*Face palm*) With the free Google Home app, you can adjust the temps no matter where you are. Plus, it’ll send alerts to complete tasks like changing filters and send notices if the system seems off. The coolest feature? The thermostat’s built-in sensor, coupled with your phone’s location, can determine whether you’ve left the house and put itself into eco mode accordingly.

Don’t know about you, but I’ve been seeing ads for the Sony x Olivia Rodrigo collab and you can call me *influenced*. While the “Drivers License” singer’s violet Link Buds are now sadly out of stock, you can still choose from a black, taupe or white iteration that boast the same cool features, including touch control settings, voice pickup technology that pauses your music when you start talking, water resistance and a six hour battery life.

“I love the Pixel Fold. Being able to flip it open to the ‘big screen’ to multitask, viewing two different apps at once, is a gamechanger,” Davison raves. “Plus, it’s amazing for streaming video, and you can prop it up easily to watch (or take photos from afar). It got me through the bleary-eyed hours of 3 a.m. feedings during mat leave, as well as during my hospital stay. My husband has the Pixel 7, and he loves the affordability, durability and photo quality it possesses, especially compared to other phones on the market at that price point (and higher). It's taken so many falls and spills without issue. Ditto for the Fold—I was worried its screens would be delicate, but over a year of drops later, it’s held strong.” The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is the latest iteration, equipped with Google’s most powerful processor, the Google Tensor G4. The AI assistant, Gemini, helps you execute a variety of tasks, but some of the coolest involve the award winning camera. With the Add Me feature, you can take a group shot, swap in photographers, and then merge the images together for a photo with everyone. Additionally, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold comes with seven years of operating system and security updates, plus a year’s subscription to Gemini Advanced, Google’s premium AI plan.

In addition to being a streaming hub for all your favorite apps, the Sony Bravia 3 also has built-in AirPlay 2 and Chromecast under the Google TV umbrella. With Google Assistant, you can search your whole library. You also have access to Bravia TV and the Sony Pictures Core app with a complimentary 12-month subscription. Cinema aficionados will appreciate the 4K HDR, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos compatibility. There are also exclusive features for the PS5 (Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode) for an optimal experience.

While the Apple AirPods Max will run you a cool $550, the Sony WH1000XM5 headphones give them a run for the money—at a fraction of the price. The latest iteration of the brand’s headphones boasts a 30-hour battery life and compatibility with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Siri. There are five audio modes including noise canceling, sound isolating and environmental noise control, plus a built-in microphone and adjustable headband.

“The Google Nest Doorbell is far superior to the Ring, in my opinion,” Davison says. “I’ve owned both, and the Ring has had so many issues with connectivity and its battery dying (even after I switched to a solar outlet), while I’ve never had those issues with the Nest. It’s responsive, the video is clear and I’ve been able to talk to a contractor who needed to turn off my gas after a line break through the doorbell...while I was on vacation in Italy. I’ve owned it for over six years, and it's pretty incredible.”

The Oura Ring is a PureWow editor favorite, with both Scott and Senior Editor Dana Dickey having good things to say about it. “For wearable tech neophytes, this sleep and wellness tracker looks like a simple wedding band but is actually a titanium band filled with technology that enables it to track wearers’ sleep stages, menstrual cycles, heart rate, blood oxygen level, breathing rate, skin temperature and heart rate variability,” Dickey writes in her in-depth review. Scott adds: “It's important that you give the ring time to do its thing—it has to learn your body and process your stats to really be useful. For me, the ring has taught me that I often overextend myself, which leads to feeling restless and stressed. It's made me more mindful of how I'm taking care of myself because, at the end of the day, it's really just another tool that I can use to love on myself."

This one's for the person in your life who's always on the go and can't be bothered hauling around an actual computer. With a 10.2-inch screen and Apples A13 bionic chip, Apple’s ninth-generation iPad offers the utilities of a laptop in a slimmer, lighter package. It’s compatible with the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard, with a battery life up to 10 hours so you can send your emails, binge your favorite Netflix show, listen to music and more without running around to find an outlet. Earlier this year, I bought an iPad (albeit mini) and can attest that the portability is everything, and the split-screen viewing has completely changed my multitasking abilities.

15. Motorola razr+

Motorola

ICYMI, we’re super nostalgic for Y2k...and what sums that up better than a flip phone? Raise a hand if you had a Motorola Razor in glittery pink at some point in the 2000s. Well, if you haven’t been paying attention, there’ve been some majorly cool updates to the classic phone over the years. Folded, you get a 3.6-inch screen; expanded, that surface area becomes 6.9 inches. Flex view allows you to prop your phone up at multiple angles so you can selfie away without asking a stranger to take 1,000 pictures of you. Couple that with all-day battery life, Snapdragon 8+ AI, Dolby Atmos/Spatial Sound audio and a cutting-edge camera and you’ve got some serious power.

When rounding up the best Roombas, PureWow Associate Editor Sydney Meister called out the Combo j5. The j5+ is a step up, without having to shell out for a top-of-the-line Roomba like the j9+. This iteration can automatically empty its bin and hold up to 60 days of debris—the real definition of set it and forget it. You can toggle easily between vacuum and mop, and the four-stage cleaning system expertly removes dirt, debris and pet hair. And, with Dirt Detect Technology, the j5+ will pinpoint areas of your home that need extra cleaning—but the P.O.O.P (Pet Owner Official Promise) function ensures it steers clear of any accidents produced by Fido.

Take it from the PureWow editors: We love a Nespresso Vertuo. “The machine creates a quality shot of espresso each time with a perfect crema, quite comparable to what a traditional espresso machine would pull,” reports Gallery Media Group Vice President of Design and Branded Content Angela Pares of her VertuoPlus. Best Buy’s Black Friday festivities include savings on the Vertuo Pop+, which, like the former, makes a great cup of coffee in five sizes, from espresso to cold brew. And if you were worried about the sustainability aspect, Nespresso has the system on lock with a free program to recycle the pods and compost the grains.
