‘The Vampire Diaries’ Star Torrey Devitto Just Got Engaged! See Her Beautiful Diamond Ring

A former resident of Mystic Falls is getting ready to tie the knot! The Vampire Diaries alum Torrey Devitto announced that she’s engaged to her beau, Jared LaPine, and showed off her gorgeous ring.

Yesterday, the 39-year-old actress posted a photo slideshow on her Instagram account, where she is posing next to her future husband. In the first pic, Devitto can be seen rocking a beautiful engagement ring on *that* finger while her fiancé hugs her from behind. 

Meanwhile, the second snap shows a close-up of the emerald diamond on the Pretty Little Liars star’s finger.

Devitto celebrated the news in the caption, writing, “Earlier this month at 5 pm on a weekday while walking the back trails at the farm, still in my PJs and goat boots, he got down on one knee, in what I hoped wasn’t poison ivy, and asked for forever. My answer was obvious.”

Her celebrity friends flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages. Former PLL castmate Troian Bellisario commented, “Yahoo!!!” Devitto’s TVD co-star, Arielle Kebbel, simply added a plethora of red heart emojis.

Devitto and LaPine first made their “hard launch” on social media back in June. Earlier this summer, the short film director posted a snap of him and Devitto looking quite cozy with each other while sitting in a restaurant. “Enter Cheesy/Sappy line here,” he captioned the post.

In the same month, the Chicago Med actress shared sweet photos of the pair standing in a field of flowers. “Michigan Poppies and Pride,” Devitto wrote in the caption, along with the hashtag, “#HappiestPlaceOnEarth.”
