Just when we thought Netflix was closing the door on their To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise, we learned that there is reportedly a spin-off series in the works. Only this time, it won’t be centered around Lara Jean (Lana Condor).
According to Deadline, the streaming platform is currently in the process of developing a half-hour spin-off focusing on the protagonist’s kid sister, Kitty Covey, and “her quest to find true love.” Per the report, Anna Cathcart is on board to reprise her role and author of the namesake novel that inspired the films, Jenny Han, has also signed on as a writer and executive producer.
Unfortunately, no other details about the series have been revealed, including whether or not any of the film’s other original cast members will be reprising their roles. It’s also important to mention that Netflix has yet to confirm the news.
ICYMI: Netflix released the final flick in the trilogy, To All the Boys: Always and Forever, back in February. And after just days on the streaming platform, it quickly claimed the number one spot on Netflix’s list of most-watched movies.
