Taylor Swift’s hair has stood the test of time. From her curly Fearless era to her shaggy platinum blonde bob (not my fave), the 34-year-old singer has tried just about every haircut imaginable. But when it comes to styling, Swift rarely strays away from her signature all-down style. And if she *does* wear it up, it’s usually in a sleek updo or bun. So, you can imagine my surprise when Swift debuted a fun new hairstyle during her latest Kansas City Chiefs outing.
Taylor Swift Channels Her Sporty Side with New Hairstyle at Chiefs Game
It's giving Sporty Spice
Last week, Swift traveled to Kansas City to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. She arrived at the Chiefs game with his mom, Donna, in color coordinating outfits. The musician opted against her go-to hairstyles and put a sporty spin on a classic ponytail.
The singer styled her hair in a braid that was secured like a ponytail, with a hair tie at both the start and the end of the pigtail. She completed the look with tousled bangs that perfectly framed her face. Swift was wearing a red Louis Vuitton half-zip sweater, black pants and short platform leather boots.
Swift has been around for quite some time, and I’ve seen a number of hairstyles on the singer. And though she usually shows off all-down hairstyles during the Eras tour or her effortless updos at the Chiefs games (ahem, see below), I can’t help but love this braided ponytail.
Perhaps she’s trying a new look at every game. Or maybe she’s finally embracing her highly publicized role as an NFL girlfriend. Regardless, I’m totally stealing this sporty hairstyle on my next bad hair day.
