It’s been three weeks since Julie Chen handed out 12 keys to the Big Brother: Celebrity Edition house. And now, the evicted houseguests have crowned one lucky winner.

During last night’s finale, Tamar Braxton walked away with the highly coveted bragging rights as the season two winner. The TV personality beat out former NFL star Ricky Williams in a unanimous vote and, in turn, snagged the $250,000 prize money. Cha-ching!

Here’s how it went down: Williams started strong by winning the first Head of Household competition. He evicted Kandi Burruss (Real Housewives of Atlanta) over Dina Lohan before winning the HOH comp…again. He then had to decide whether to take Braxton, Lohan or Olympian Lolo Jones to the final two.

In the end, Williams chose Braxton. This proved to be a mistake, since she won all nine jury votes, making her the first African-American winner of the U.S. version of the series.

Although evicted houseguest Tom Green was named America’s favorite, Williams didn’t walk away empty-handed. He received the $50,000 runner-up prize money, so it wasn’t a total loss.

Season two of Big Brother: Celebrity Edition began on January 21. Other houseguests include former WWE wrestler Natalie Eva Marie, host Kato Kaelin, actor Joey Lawrence, Olympian Ryan Lochte and actor Jonathan Bennett.

In the wise words of Julie Chen, “Expect the unexpected.”
