Reese Witherspoon Shared the Most Relatable Snaps of Her Son Homeschooling (Spoiler: It’s Not Going Well)

Getting the kids to stay focused and engage in virtual learning is no easy feat, and Reese Witherspoon can definitely attest to that.

On Instagram, the Little Fires Everywhere star shared a few snaps of her (very flexible) son, Tennessee James Toth, and offered a quick update on the homeschooling process so far. Judging by these pics of the 7-year-old... it's not exactly going according to plan.

The mother of three joked, "Home school is going great. [silly face emoji]" In a series of three photos, Tennessee is seen hanging upside down like a mini Spider-man from a kitchen countertop, a work desk and a car roof (color us impressed). Witherspoon's famous pals had a lot to say about his unique poses. Mindy Kaling wrote, "Tennessee is a bat now," while Derek Blasberg joked, "Give him an A+ in gym!"

Comedian Chelsea Handler cleverly added that this was "how she was born." Meanwhile, Kevin Kwan, who authored the satirical novel that inspired Crazy Rich Asians, explained, "I was doing the exact same thing at his age. I just wanted to be upside down on trees, on swings, on furniture. Go Tennessee!" And Witherspoon responded with, "I was the same!"

About a week before she shared this post, the actress announced on Instagram that she was starting homeschooling with Tennessee. In the earlier photo, her son is actually not hanging upside down, but sitting with his mom and looking much more focused with his tablet in hand. Witherspoon wrote, "Online learning here we come!! #backtoschool."

It seems like the new school year has already brought some interesting challenges with it, but we're confident that this mom will do great.

You've got this, Reese!
