Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have recently been very generous with pictures of their home, Clarence House.
Just a couple weeks ago, the couple offered a rare look at the Morning Room, as well as a vintage photo to illustrate how the space had evolved over the years.
Now, the royal pair are sharing another special glimpse of their home, as well as a close-up shot of one of the magnificent pieces of art that hangs in the London residence. On the Clarence House Instagram account, they posted an image of the Dining Room and highlighted a portrait of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother along the way.
They shared a photo of the portrait to their Instagram Story, where they said, “This beautiful unfinished portrait of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother was painted by Augustus John in 1940.” In the gorgeous artwork, The Queen Mother (who would have been around 40 at the time) is seen sitting in a chair wearing a sparkly gold dress. The off-the-shoulder gown features a tiered skirt and it is layered in tulle. Meanwhile, the royal is captured holding two pink flowers that match her necklace.
