Priyanka Chopra Calls Out Mother-in-Law (aka Nick Jonas’s Mom) in New Mother's Day Post

Priyanka Chopra, 40, became a mother herself not too long ago, and on this Mother's Day, she's thinking about all the women who have helped her become the person she is today.

The Citadel star shared a slideshow of photos to Instagram, along with a heartfelt caption that thanked her mom, grandmas, aunts and more. “Im so lucky to have always known the love of a mother,” Chopra wrote. “My mother is the strongest woman I know. And her mother was too. I come from a lineage of women who are warriors and I was blessed to be raised by many of them. My Mum, my aunts, my grand mothers.”

The Quantico alum continued: “Thank you Ma, you’re the greatest gift in my life. I could not be more grateful you’re mine! 
To all the moms out there..the ones I have the privilege of knowing and working with and the ones I don’t…YOU are superheroes.”

Amidst her caption, Chopra took the time to thank her mother-in-law, Denise Jonas. She wrote, “Also thank you Denise for raising an exceptional son and for all the love you bestow upon our family. I’m so blessed.” Chopra tied the knot with Nick Jonas, 30, in 2018.

And finally, the superstar took the opportunity to talk about her own experience as a mother. “As a new mum I have so much respect for all the providers and nurtures, (my mother insists mothers are also providers, I agree), who devote themselves to the next generation,” Chopra wrote. “My gratitude...And…I love you Malti Marie. Thank you for making me a mama. Its the greatest honour of my life that you chose me.”

Chopra and her husband welcomed their baby girl via surrogate in January 2022. The pair announced the news to Instagram that same month, writing, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much [red heart emoji].”
