Prince William just revealed that he regularly thinks of Princess Diana, especially when listening to “The Best” by Tina Turner.
The Duke of Cambridge, 39, recently teamed up with Apple Fitness+ to record an episode of the company’s Time to Walk podcast, which (according to the official synopsis) “features personal stories, photos and music from influential people to inspire Apple Watch users to walk more.”
In the installment, Prince William played music and talked about his personal life while enjoying a walk outdoors. The first song Prince William shared with listeners is “The Best” because it brings back fond memories of his late mother.
“When I was younger, Harry and I, we were at boarding school. And my mother used to play all sorts of songs to kind of while away the anxiety of going back to school,” he said. “And one of the songs I massively remember and has stuck with me all this time, and I still, to this day, still quite enjoy secretly, is Tina Turner’s ‘The Best’ because sitting in the backseat, singing away, it felt like a real family moment.” David from Schitt’s Creek would be proud.
