Camera Captures Prince William's, Um, Intense Reaction to Team Scoring During Yesterday's Match

When I think of royal family members who make wild facial expressions (yes, that's a thing), two names immediately come to mind. The first, of course, is Prince Louis. The 6-year-old is notorious for making funny faces during big royal events (perhaps none funnier than during the king's coronation).

The other? Well, that would be his dad, Prince William, because clearly expressive faces run in the family. And yesterday, those looks were on full display.

On January 29, the 42-year-old Prince of Wales attended a football/soccer match between Aston Villa FC and Celtic FC at Villa Park. Who was the prince rooting for? Well, let's go to the ~~video tape~~ pictures.

Prince William watched intensely as the score fluctuated over the course of the match. First, Aston Villa was in the lead, but then Celtic FC tied things up. Fortunately for the future monarch, his team then scored, taking the lead at 3-2 before finishing up the match with a 4-2 win.

The winning team in question? Aston Villa, and the prince had a rather...intense reaction to them scoring a goal...

He leapt to his feet, throwing his fist in the air and clenching his teeth together in a massive grin. But royal stans won't be surprised by this over-the-top response. After all, he is notorious for getting emotional about his football matches.
