Prince William Is Heading to America This Fall (But We’re Not Holding Our Breath for a Prince Harry Reunion)

Per an official press release, Michael R. Bloomberg (the founder of Bloomberg Philanthropies) said: “To effectively tackle the climate crisis, we need to invest in innovative solutions and new ideas that can accelerate global progress and help repair the planet. This year’s Earthshot Prize Finalists are great examples of the kind of bold action and creative thinking we need, and our team is looking forward to working with Prince William to support them as they expand their ambitions.”

News of the royal prince’s upcoming American trip (which we’re guessing won’t include a reunion with his brother, Prince Harry) was reshared on the Instagram page dedicated to the Prince and Princess of Wales. A reshared post on their IG Story shows deets about this year’s Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit, including the date and location.

Just a few months ago, it was revealed that the 2023 Earthshot Prize Awards themselves will take place in Singapore on November 7, 2023. When the news was revealed, an announcement video was posted on the IG account the prince shared with his wife, Kate Middleton, 41. The clip featured stunning camera shots taken in different parts of Singapore. 

In the background, Prince William’s voice can be heard saying: “It’s incredible what we humans can build. We often forget that it comes with a cost. We can create a different future—a better future. But, only if we reach for it now.”
