The man was clearly in his element

Celebs—such as the members of the royal family—are used to having their every move examined. With cameramen rolling and photographers snapping left and right, it's rare that their body language goes unnoticed.

Take, for example, Meghan Markle who displayed some surprising body language during a recent outing with her friend. Or Taylor Swift whose major behavioral shift caught my eye right away. Or even Simone Biles whose appearance this week said a ton about her relationship.

Next up? Prince Harry, who sat for a rare TV interview during his visit to the 2024 Grey Cup in Vancouver, Canada, on Sunday. And his body language—as he sat in front of cameras and thousands of Canadian football fans—was quite telling.

The Duke of Sussex gave a surprise interview to TSN (The Sports Network) prior to the big final game between the Toronto Argonauts and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. But perhaps more surprising than the interview itself was just how comfortable and at ease the prince appeared.

Throughout the interview, he smiled, laughed and appeared to thoroughly enjoy himself. As you can tell from his body language, he continually leaned in towards his co-hosts, indicating that he was fully interested and engaged with the conversation.

Even his relaxed shoulders showed that he was in his element while chatting about the big game. Part of this may have to do with the fact that it was a friendly interview, but even so, speaking in front of an audience this large may have rattled Harry if he weren't such a seasoned professional.

Per The Mirror, Prince Harry said during the interview, "I'm looking forward to the game getting started—let's go!" And when asked about what position he might hypothetically play, he responded, "I think quarterback is a cool place to be."

But the Duke of Sussex's body language didn't only show his ease with commentators and interviewers. He seemed to revel in the attention from adoring fans, waving and giving a thumbs up (and a bright smile) to the crowd.

And while Harry laid on the charm during his interview on Sunday, the real purpose of his visit to Canada was revealed on Monday.

The Invictus Games, which is an international sporting event for wounded and injured veterans that the prince co-founded, will take place next year in Vancouver and Whistler. So, on Monday, he visited a military facility, the Seaforth Armoury, to meet with students as part of the launch of a new online program that will introduce the Invictus Games to schools.

Looks like Harry's pre-Invictus Canada trip was a big success.
